This is my best photo I took this year because I like how the background is all green and the flower is white. I tried to get the viewer to understand what the photo was to get closer to the plant. The compositional strategies I used was rules of thirds. I choose to use rules of thirds because Your eye is drawn to it then has nowhere to go from there because the object is equal distance from all sides. This piece shows my progress as a photographer because I've learned that photos look better if I get closer to the photos.
My greatest success in photo class was when I started comparing my photos from 1st semester and this semester. I've realized that there is a lot growth in my work. For example I never got close to the subject.
If I were to take photo 1 and 2 over again I would recreate shutter speed, because that was a really hard project for me to do.
In photo class I've learned different types of techniques. I can apply this to my everyday life because I'm always the one who takes the photos when we go to different places. Know that I've learned all this I now know how to make my photos look better.
