1. Trees, grass, my sister
2. I saw that the trees were lit in such an interesting way because the sun was setting. I thought it would be a perfect backdrop for the theme, and her face would glow and blend in. The lighting is all natural and not edited.
3. I stood back and zoomed in. I wasn't sure if I should capture how tall the trees are or just focus on her face. I chose to focus on her face and used the trees as leading lines and a good background. When I edited, I cropped to focus on the glow of her face and put the her eye in the rule of thirds. I also had to edit the shadow so it wouldn't be too distracting.
