Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!
So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Milky Way Shoot but no Milky Way
This was supposed be a Milky Way Shoot from last Summer. Yet despite careful planning the weather will do what it wants and clouds started rolling in a few hours before the sunset. The cloud cover just continued as the evening when on and it became “clear” we were not going to get our Milk Way shoot. We setup our lights anyway and as you can see, the shoot wasn’t a total waste of time.

A two-sided photo with multiple oppositions: Left vs Right, Up vs Down, Black vs Colors, Animal vs Mineral... and Fauna vs Flora!

Hare eyesight is specialised for survival as prey, featuring nearly 360-degree panoramic vision from eyes on the sides of their heads, excellent low-light & movement detection, but poor depth perception and blurry close-up focus, relying on whiskers & smell instead.
Actually, they are farsighted, seeing distant threats clearly, with a blind spot directly in front of their nose.

A beautiful but very windy day on the Suffolk coast. Dartford Warblers keeping their heads down due to the wind, but this chap at least stopped for a couple of seconds.

Cresting the hill at Folly Mountain, train 120 heads by the calm Folly Lake, Nova Scotia. it's not very often the water is this calm when I'm here.

This small waterfall is in my local park.
It is fed from the lake which is situated behind and above and flows at a rapid rate after heavy rainfall.
I used an NDR filter to freeze the movement in the water.
Full moon night. But moonrise about two hours after sunset. So just enough time to capture some stars. Guess the glow on the horizon is left over from sunset. Amazing how long it takes to completely disappear. Probably longer than two hours. Of course it would be nice to think it's the Aurora Australis. I doubt that.
Processing technique:
9x 15s ISO640 14mm F2.8 images.
1. Open as layers in PS
2. Mask out the land and copy mask to all;
3. Group into "sky" group;
4. Duplicate that group and make a "land" group;
5. Auto align the nine images in the sky group;
6. Delete all the masks in the sky group;
7. Convert to smart object;
8. Blend-mode Median;
Now do the land group: invert the masks and do same as above.
Finish by blending the two groups together.
Photoshop is an amazing tool. But sometimes even the wizardry of Adobe fails. In this case, it was photomerge pano function. So, I’ve tried my best to manually stitch the sequence of 5 images together. Look closely, and you will find multiple artifacts. But, hey, I’m happy with the final result. It also has left me with a much deeper appreciation of Photoshop can do when it’s working well.
It was a stunning view, watching the lights dancing across the mouth of Morfjorden. We won’t mention the point when I slipped into a rockpool, faceplanted the granite, and ended up with soaking wet soon-to-be-frozen pair of trousers. As that will not be mentioned, neither will “suffering for one’s art”.
