Being sensitive doesn't mean you're weak, it just means you're human. Your lack of sensitivity doesn't necessarily make you stronger.
We all have layers to us, different facets to our personalities. If my heart wasn't resilient and really strong, I wouldn't have endured this ocean of pain alongside you for so long. I even considered leaving from the start.
One life, one love, a promise I hold dear, to spend it by your side, with nothing left to fear. I lay bare my soul before you, knowing full well my flaws and shortcomings. I may not be perfect, and I acknowledge that openly. There have been times when my actions faltered, moments of weakness that clouded my judgment.

From the edge of the North Rim, the canyon spills outward in seemingly infinite layers of light and shadow. This is actually the same view from the Moon Room, but I took the photograph through the window instead of from behind it.

This photo was taken by a Kiev 60 medium format film camera and МИР - 26В 3.5/45mm lens with a Hoya HMC 82mm Y[K2] filter using Fomapan 200 Creative film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitalized with Photoshop.

A menacing sky dominates the seemingly boundless meadows of amber grasses. Grant's Gazelle graze nervously in the open pasture. There is a cheetah nearby, and she represents the greatest threat to their safety. Genetic studies of these medium sized gazelle reveal a high degree of genetic variability. This suggests that over time populations of Grant's were isolated from each other. Males, like the two in this photo, will compete for dominance and the right to mate with females. During mating season the males will attempt to herd any females that enter their territory, and defend that herd from competing dominant males. Males that have not attained dominant status frequently live in bachelor herds. These beautiful gazelle are known for their lyre-like horns, that can show significant variability from animal to animal. Listed as animals of least concern, because of their great success and numbers, they are frequently taken for granted by visitors to the Serengeti.
