"Leaving time" was hard going at the beginning and I almost gave up, but the end of the book was really worth it.
The other two were just easy reads.
This bookstore on the upper west side plays a lot of jazz (You might notice some instruments and hanging next to the picture of a jazz great next to the clock).
Books broaden our imagination,

~ Attended a very interesting author event in Daunt Books yesterday
evening, Amitav Ghosh talking on his new book, Sea of Poppies.
The event was great, Ghosh is a fascinating and passionate speaker;
the venue, an old-fashioned bookshop in the middle of London, and a
lovely shop at that, where you can browse books at your leisure, I was in bliss...
I read the two Swedish books ages ago, but just finished Amanda's Wedding. This was Jenny Colgan's first novel and it's not as good as her later books.

I got this little book with a clasp at the big annual 24 hour booksale here in Dunedin today. You can never have too many books! Good thing we're putting in a new shelves soon though :-)
