A visit to our old Tullibody home area included a call-in to see what was going on at Boness. Well, this loco was in service that day - but things were not quite as they seemed....
The BR liveried J94 was actually an industrial look-a like WD that had been supplied to the WD in 1945 , transferred to
Comrie (Fife) NCB before being purchased for preservation .A good job of 'converting' it to BR condition had been done - BUT why number the loco as only the seventh of a class of at least 75 locos?

70 Cookie Artists, from 24 states and 3 countries, lovingly joined forces for a huge bake sale in a tiny community in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, to honor an incredible 13-year-old boy, his message and his foundation. We were unbelievably humbled by the outpouring of support and selfless generosity of these amazing Cookie Artists, who heard about Bo’s journey with Extramedullary Acute Myeloid Leukemia and his simple, yet profound message:
“Love each other, help each other, have your neighbor's back. If you see someone in need — even a stranger — reach out and help. This world can be a better place if we care and help each other.”

A quick look in at my 'local' Boness Railway produced a new loco to me - on loan from the Strathspey - No.17 'Braeriach' , seen here leaving Boness.
Ex NCB Comrie,Fife 0-6-0 No.19 (Hunslet , built 1954) waits at Boness Station. The Signalbox has finally been completed and makes a splendid feature.
