The first British Railways diesel locomotives in Scotland were BR standard type 350hp shunters (later Class 08), introduced at Grangemouth Docks in 1955. Over the next decade many more were delivered and the design was so successful that many remain in service throughout Britain, although traffic requirements are very different. Almost 1,000 of these locomotives were built between 1952 and 1962. The design has its origin on the London Midland & Scottish Railway in 1934, and essentially consists of a diesel-electric power unit mounted on the frames and wheels of a steam engine. It was an outstandingly successful type.
D3558 when new was based at Polmont Shed, Stirlingshire. In 1973, it was renumbered 08443. It was withdrawn from Thornton Junction, Fife, in 1985, and sold to Scottish Grain Distillers for use at Cambus Distillery in Stirlingshire, where it worked until it was donated to SRPS in 1993.
BR Swindon built Class 126 No SC51017 delivered in August 1959 Ayr 67C and withdrawn in January 1983 in the shed at Bo'ness. You could say it was accident prone been involved in two fatal collisions in 1973 and 1979 but survived both with little damage.

Bắt làm tường trình + tự vik thư mời họp PH ! Đau hết cả tim ! A Chè thân yêu còn thấy móng mình! ( new nail buổi sáng :">) Ông í lấy lun cái đt ra chụp tay mh ! Khốn nạn v. đó :-ss. Class 20 D8188 chugs up the bank from Alresford towards Ropley on the Mid-Hants Railway during the line's Easter Bunny event.

Location: Northside Lane foot crossing near Ropley, Mid-Hants Railway/Watercress Line, Hampshire.

No.19 returns to Boness - from the upper town - a view before the vast tracts of trees were planted.
Here we are at Forest Hill tower in Chicago watching the eastbound Capital Limited in full flight pounding the BRC and Wabash diamonds in July of 1963. The railroads still had pride in thier tarins but it would not last much longer.

80105 rounds the curve and passes the distant signal for Boness on 'Santas Polar Express'. The headboard isnt too intrusive , and is of the traditional shape - and nice to find a matching early BR rake.
