Dopo la riorganizzazione del servizio internazionale del gruppo DB Schenker lo scalo ticinese di Biasca ha assunto un nuovo ruolo di base logistica per gli shuttle Hupac ed Ambrogio in viaggio verso i terminal gallaratesi.

Le Re486 delle BLS, dopo aver affrontato le rampe del Gottardo in doppia o tripla con le Br185 delle DB, proseguono in singola verso il Lago Maggiore al traino dei pesanti convogli da 1500/1600 tonnellate.

Nella foto la Re486 501 ha appena lasciato Biasca e la Br185 110 proseguendo per Bellinzona. (11/9/10)

BLS Re4/4 LALDEN passing wrong line through Reichenbach im Kandertal with a train of tank wagons heading towards Spiez.

L'imponente locomotore Ae 6/8 203 (1° serie, costruzione di Breda/SAAS del 1929) di BLS (Bern–Lötschberg–Simplon) attende il suo turno per partire al traino di un pesante treno merci.

Siamo in stazione a Briga, il 24.08.1986; questo locomotore fu demolito circa 3 anni più tardi...

L'attuale parco passeggeri delle BLS comprende sostanzialmente quattro differenti serie di vetture passeggeri identificate quali EW I, EW III, "jumbo" e "Lego-B".

Nella foto l'anziana pilota DBt (EW I) 948 viaggia in coda ad una delle frequentissime navette in viaggio fra Goppenstein e Kandersteg alle due imboccature del tunnel di base del Loetschberg. (22/5/10)
