this is a picture of the same oriental cherry tree from across the street that I shot while blossoming last spring at eastern... clearly wanting to skip winter!
last spring came very late, now seems it 's coming extra extra early!
temperatures hardly went under 10°C till now and later this week going to rise even up to 15°C !!
About 100 metres from our home. Lovely to have such amazing spring weather this week, long may it continue.

Thought I would upload the before image to the "Holi Festival of Colours meets japanese crabapple blossom." I like fiddling with images but you can't beat Gaia for simple beauty.
One of my favorite springtime blooms are the Cherry blossoms.
Can't stop taking pictures of them.
They are so lovely.
But instead of posting three separate images I decided to combine them into a triple.

at Plum Park of the World in Tatsuno-city,Hyogo,Japan
This Plum Park was opened in 1993. 1250 of plum trees wore trans planted from China,Taiwan and Korea to this park.
A plum festival is held from 11 February this year.
Spring seems to finally have arrived.
