Patty Blee was the opening act at the Southern Shore Music Festival on Saturday.

Kate Blee worked closely with the design team to specify the articulation and
colours for the full height glazing forming curtain walls on the four elevations of
the new buildings. The colours used were extended to louvred panels and doors
and other interior spaces.
As well as lending visual interest, the glazing provides a unifying sense of identity and
connection between the two buildings, both inside and out. The design was inspired
by the natural range of colour found in the trees on the Southmead site – browns and
warm greys at the lower level, moving up through greens to the blue sky above. The
coloured panels have been specifically designed to provide an appropriate environment
inside, without adversely affecting working conditions.
Kate also created two large panels made of ceramic tiles for the end walls of the atrium
of each building. Titled ‘One in a Million’, they reference the scientific methodology of
the work that is done there. They reflect light and feature tactile, dynamic surfaces in
which intriguing objects invite exploration.

I was in the next room printing while she played in her pen and I noticed that the house got strangely quiet.
This is what happens when blee's refuse to nap.
This is how sick little blee likes to nap. Really the only way. Strapped to me while I rock in the glider chair. At least I got to relax too without fear of dropping her. And she needs to nap to heal so this will be repeated many times today.
Her little chest rattle congested breath just kills me though.
If you look really close you can see her ladybug, she fell asleep mouthing him and woke up mouthing him.

Is named Lars. (no I don't normally name my carriers but this one was made from a German wrap named Lars)
These days with her being sick she wants to be carried/ worn nearly non stop. It is even hard to get her to eat anything even the good stuff. Actually we have cut out solids until she is well because she tends to gag on them.
But this wonderful creation allows me to basically wear her and do stuff around the house, list on Etsy, mail orders and generally get out while keeping her upright and happy. I love this thing!
She pretty much wants nothing to do with any of her devices. I actually have her in the exersaucer right now and I am kind of shocked that she is having it.
