Any time the SIBF/BFSI loses a unit, there's always a chance the yard power makes it on a road set for a trip. Case in point here as 626 prepares to lead an SIRI south from Salamanca on a cool morning.
On a spring afternoon a pair of Buffalo & Pittsburgh SD60s pass through Machias Junction as they go from the ex PRR Buffalo Line (now BPRR Machias Sub) to the ex B&O Rochester Division (BPRR Mainline Sub). Still here are a pair of PRR position light signals, however they are turned and not in use.
Strong storms made their way across the area overnight causing lots of trees to fall over the rails. Southbound train BFSI is seen here at Delevan, NY is waiting for multiple track patrols to clear the line so it can proceed.
After dropping off and picking up cars in Buffalo & Pittsburgh's Buffalo Creek Yard, train X-BFSI works its way up the NS Ebenezer Runner on its way south to Salamanca with an EMD SD60 duo.
