wow, this was way tougher than i thought it would be . .
first up, trying to find a spoon that wasn't too scratched up was an impossible quest, so then, getting the reflection to look decent also was challenging, i eventually had to bend the spoon to make it work out, then had to wait for some 'lighting' (the sun to shine on cloudy days), my cat wasn't any help during setup either, however, it was all fun in the end!
it's great to be challenged! HaPpY CrAzy TuEsDaY

A trio of Altoona-rebuilt SD60Es drag NS 13V up the east slope and around the world famous Honse Bend- er, Horseshoe Curve. Altoona, PA.
A moment before sunrise, Mt. Moran is reflected in the still water at Oxbow Bend in the Teton Range of Wyoming.
Betsy Shirley the foster mother of Buck Brannaman the real horse whisperer, says" Bend don't break." I fine documentary and I must give this women credit!
Elizabeth (Betsy) Wesley Shirley, 93, passed away at her home, on Wednesday, April 27, 2016.
Summer in Grand Teton National Park, Oxbow Bend is a popular spot for photographers and tourists as you can see why. I loved all the wildflowers along the banks of the Snake River.
Have a great week. Colorado is getting some much needed rain/snow today. Relief for all the wildfires around us. Stay safe - stay healthy
A play on words with the title. Shot towards the early morning sun, a bend in the road with some nice light filtering through.
More from around Wistow, near Mt Barker, South Australia
This is kind of a cliché photo of the Horseshoe Bend near Page AZ, but it was cool to see. If you view large, you can see boats and tents on the beach at the bend. You probably won't see this without a crowd around - there are plenty of selfie taking tourists backed up to the edge of the cliff trying to get that one shot of themselves...
this is on the banks of Wastwater and i can tell you these bikers didn't bomb along it like you would think...they sauntered actually.
We saw less than a dozen people this day up there.
Bet its been a tad different this week!!
I was going through some older photos, and found this one i took in New Zealand last year.

Bend in the Vrbas canyon next to the road
Stitched together from multiple images using Hugin panorama
A bend in the River Taw as it meanders near its source on Dartmoor with the lower slopes of Cosdon Hill rising above the valley on other side.
Oxbow Bend in Grand Teton National Park is located between Jackson Lake and Moran Junctions. Sunrise is probably the best time of day to capture colors, but I was more fascinated by the muted colors of twilight, the time of day between sunset and dusk.
Seen in Amsterdam. Perhaps this is a visual metaphor for the city's relaxed attitude toward so-called victimless crime? I found it rather.... artful.
A view across the lagoon from the northern side. A nice walk to get to this spot. Located not far from housing but also in amongst tall eucalypts. Back Lagoon is adjacent to the ocean and a creek also feeds into it further up and around the bend. Back Lagoon at Merimbula on the Far South Coast of NSW AUS.
The view from Horseshoe Bend is absolutely a beautiful sight to see. You don't realize how grand it is until you see it in person. It is probably one of the most photographed sections of the Colorado river but for good reason.
My wife and I visited for sunset after a great day in some of the slot canyons in the Page area. It wasn't the best sunset I have seen but I was happy to have clouds close to the horizon and it is hard to complain about a view like this. I did get some shots with more color in the sky but I liked this one with the sun starting to drop behind the horizon. The real light show was happening to the right of this scene with some amazing clouds and light. But for now we will start with this shot.

Maybe photographed and posted here thousands of times. But I'm glad I was able to see and photograph it in person.
