Hawthorn Leslie 0-4-0 saddle tank '10' (W/No.3352 built in 1918) with a rake on B.R. 21 ton hoppers alongside the staithes at Seaham Harbour Dock Co. Ltd. on 9th July 1966. Within a year the locomotive had been scrapped.

2 - Tengo dos hijos, aunque esto la mayoria ya lo sabies.
3 - Pertenezco a la mejor generación, irrepetible, la de los 60!!!!
4 - Me gusta el futbol sobretodo cuando juega el Barça ;) ( y gana!)
5 - Me encanta comer bien, en restaurantes poco recomendables jejeje (caros)
5 - Me chifla el buen vino, cada vez mas los del Priorat y Empordà.

The Long and Winding Road is this railway, known as the Cumbrian Coast Line. While the landscape it follows is so varied that there can be no typical vista, the single line section at Nethertown fulfils most people's idea of the 114 miles between Carnforth & Carlisle.
37409 heads 2C41 (the 1437 Barrow-in-Furness to Carlisle) northwards along the Cumbrian coast at Nethertown on 6 August 2015 with 37401 (nearest camera) bringing up the rear. ...and finally, my thanks to Adobe Photshop Elements, I couldn't have done it without you.
B.R. Provincial liveried 47475 stands at the head of the Great West Postal at Reading on 31 January 1991.
The "Manor” Class was designed by C.B. Collett for work on the lighter built main lines of the Great Western, such as the former Cambrian system in Mid Wales, and the first 20 emerged from Swindon Works in 1938. A further 10 were built by the Western Region, also at Swindon, in 1950 and 7828 was one of these.
The loco spent most of its 15 year B.R. career on the Cambrian. It then went to the Barry Yard before being purchased by Mr Ken Ryder and it moved to the WSR from the East Lancs Railway in the 1990’s. Mr Rtder subsequently sold it to the WSR and it is approaching the end of a heavy overhaul. 7828 was known throughout its mainline and earlier WSR career as "Odney Manor” but in 2011 was named "Norton Manor” in honour of the base of 40 Commando which is the neighbour of the line at Norton Fitzwarren. Just to confuse things the original plans for the class included extra locomotives and the never-built 7830 was due to be named "Norton Manor”.
There are two more "Manors” with WSR connections, both from the 1950 batch.
7820 "Dinmore Manor” was purchased by Dinmore Manor Locomotive Limited from the Gwili Railway. It was a regular performer on the line in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s before being withdrawn for overhaul which is now underway at Tyseley in Birmingham.
7821 "Ditcheat Manor” is owned by the West Somerset Railway Association but is not presently fit for service and is on display in STEAM Museum in Swindon.
Minehead railway station is situated in Minehead in Somerset, England. First opened in 1874 as the terminus and headquarters of the Minehead Railway, it was closed by British Rail early in 1971. The "Brits" were the first BR Standard class introduced in 1951 and had a very mixed reception by the enginemen of the former pre-Nationalisation companies who still favoured their beloved GWR "Castles", LNER "A3's", SR Bulleid light pacifics or LMS "Royal Scots" (all in the power class 7 category) although whilst the GWR West Country drivers of Plymouth Laira depot hated them, the GWR drivers of Cardiff Canton depot thought very highly of them! In fact, the Brits' simplicity, ruggedness, ease of maintenance, ability to go long distances between overhauls and ability to work express passenger and fast freight (often on poor coal) were exactly what was needed in the straightened times of the '50's.

Spon Lane Station on May 17th 1963. A Metro-Cammell 2 car dmu calls at the ramshackle station with a Birmingham New Street to Wolverhampton HL service. The station opened in 1852 and closed in 1964, no trace remains today.

a broken family a broken home. A picture is worth 1000 words some people say. This is an image i want to represent 1000 words. I’ve never had a broken home and fighting parents but i hear all the time of people who have families that break apart from fighting. i chose a normal family house setting of a family room with a calm nicely decorated home and set up lights and moved the person on different angles so that it cast shadows of two people fighting. I really didn’t do much planning on the outfits since no one is being shown in this image but i placed it so that the child would be in the middle.
Taken when the Speedlink general freight service still ran. It finished in May 1991. The train is parting company with the Glasgow - Ayr line, passing the disused Kilmarnock platforms, and heading up to Kilmarnock. Taken from the footbridge at Barassie station.
47311 (as D1792) was delivered to B.R. on 14th January 1965, renumbered to 47311 in February 1974. Withdrawn in November 1991, scrapped by C.F. Booth, Rotherham in November 1993.
