350 picks up on another shuttle service. It was numbered 60006 during First’s national numbering (I don’t know what First PMT were smoking, as they were all over the place).
I love how after it finished service at Stoke, they restored the manufacturers badges so it looks just like it did back in 1998 (but without the 38 branding). One can only hope some old Arriva buses will return and do the same.
My hopes are that they bring back and restore to how they looked when new:
A V-DBC ALX300
An M-GRY Scania N113DRB
An R-MNU Volvo Olympian
A Y-YBC Dennis Dart
A Y-XJF Lowlander
Maybe one of First’s ALX400s too.

Scotstoun Depot taken from the Pride of the Clyde waterbus from Braehead on Thursday 3rd August 2006. The sight of Ailsas and Citybuses seen here is now a thing of the past, the Ailsa was withdrawn from service 3 weeks previously and all the five Citybuses re-entered service later in the month and seen use right through to 2009 either in Glasgow or Yorkshire. The Volvo Olympian and Scania are still in service with First Glasgow.

UPDATE 28/11/14: 61069 was withdrawn back in July, it was last seen sat at Bramley depot a few weeks ago. It's quite likely this bus will be scrapped in the near future.
UPDATE 18/03/15: 61069 was sold to Harrogate Coach Travel (Connexions Buses) back in late 2014/early 2015. Due to being stored outside at Bramley depot, the environment had taken a toll on 61069, and when sold to HCT, it was in such a state it was sent to Geoff Ripley scrappers shortly after arriving.
Delivered to MTL Merseybus in 08/1996, this Scania is one of the more modern examples now entering preservation. It is seen here on Charley Wood Road, Kirkby Industrial Estate, Liverpool, for the 2nd. Annual NWVRT Open & Running day, on 02/06/2013. © Peter Steel 2013.

'Axcess-Ultralow' the bus may be, but alighting at this valued stop, midway up Coalpit, demands a fair bit of care from all ages of passenger.
Having left Hanley along the 'main line' through Burslem and Tunstall as a 20A, the Scania has, since Kidsgrove, metamorphosed into a 34A for its run via Chesterton and Newcastle back to the City Centre.

Coming up to 20 years old but still going strong is ex First Leeds 60133 which is seen here surviving for a little longer with ConneXionsbuses before retiring into preservation. Used mainly as a school bus for the 636H this sees normal service use if a bus brakes down. This was new to Rider York in 1995 to operate the Park & Ride services in York until 2002 where it was transferred to somewhere in West Yorkshire before moving to Leeds where it was withdrawn by First late 2014
