One of the additions to the ConnexionsBuses fleet during 2016 is that of Scania L94 Wright Axcess Floline T431 GUG, seen at the Stonebow on HCT route 13 for Copmanthorpe.
New in August 1999 to Yorkshire Rider (though by then very much owned by Firstbus, now Firstgroup) this was among the first buses in Leeds to gain the corporate Willowleaf livery which was later nicknamed the 'Barbie' livery due to the use of pink, and so this bus was also one of the first specified to First corporate standard rather than Yorkshire Rider standard - this also missed out on the brief blip when buses around Yorkshire were given regional identities and new liveries, other buses in Leeds gained the striking Leeds City Link striped livery whilst the low floor buses never got that. This batch was specified with Guide Arms fitted so that guide wheels could be used to enable these for use on guided busways in west yorkshire.
Although technically in Connexions livery, the repaint is currently only a partial one as per how the former 8414 was first repainted.... parts of First's Olympia livery can still be seen such as the lilac stripe above the windows to the rear, whilst a silhouette of the First logo can be seen above the cab window.
Scania L94 Wright Axcess Floline T562 BSS is passing York College with HCT service 13 to Haxby West Nooks - however this journey instead terminated just round the corner at Askham Bar because of problems with the handbrake which meant the vehicle could not go further.
1996 Scania L113CRL with Axcess Ultralow bodywork by Wright. Restored to Midland Bluebird livery. At Glasgow's Riverside Museum, 12th October, 2014.
Another ex-First Scania L94UB Wright Axcess Floline in the ConnexionsBuses fleet, this one came from Eastern Counties (66574) and is at Hookstone Chase in Harrogate on one of HCT's school services. This has also been int he Northampton fleet... though the 'PW' registration suffix originates from South Wales, which means this bus does fit in with other vehicles which have been with Connexions in the past which have come from Newport Transport.

These buses - 5309, which is a Scania L113CRL/Wright Axcess Ultralow, and 6592, which is a Volvo B10B/Wright Endurance - are photographed here at the Wirral Bus and Tram Show event on Shore Road in Woodside. The buses aren't in service. 5309 sports Merseybus' standard livery; 6592 sports MTL North's standard livery.

South Lancs Travel Wright Axcess Ultralow Scania L94 W396PRC crosses the border out of Leigh into Astley whilst working service 684, Leigh Circular on the morning of the 5th December 2012. The bus had been new to Dunn Line of Nottingham.
The movement of First vehicles through Eastleigh railway works continues and I can not hope to record it all. I hope that my photographs can be viewed along with those of the others who are able to record these activities. On Boxing Day 2013, nine old vehicles were present of which six had their rear advertising removed. In this view, (l-r, rear) Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB 60162/S109TNB, and three Plaxton Pointer bodied Dennis Darts, 42123/R623YCR, 42118/R618YCR and 46316/M316YOT are framed by Marshall Capital bodied Dart 41646/R646TLM (far left) and (far right) Plaxton Pointer bodied companion 42112/R612YCR.

62392 seen just after getting a fresh coat of paint. No new livery for this or 62385/88 just fresh coats of old livery which is a shame. Still to see another Floline with these extra luggage racks anywhere in the first fleet. Apart from recently scraped 62391 of course!
First Leeds 60066 was new to Yorkshire Rider as their 8194 before leaving Yorkshire for the Potteries. Now presumably nearing the end of it's service life this Wright Axcess Floline bodied Scania L94UB is back in Leeds and is seen here on Church Lane Pudsey working route 9 to Horsforth.
Running service 64 in Crossgates, Leeds. 17/05/14
UPDATE 28/11/14: 61069 was withdrawn back in July, it was last seen sat at Bramley depot a few weeks ago. It's quite likely this bus will be scrapped in the near future.
UPDATE 18/03/15: 61069 was sold to Harrogate Coach Travel (Connexions Buses) back in late 2014/early 2015. Due to being stored outside at Bramley depot, the environment had taken a toll on 61069, and when sold to HCT, it was in such a state it was sent to Geoff Ripley scrappers shortly after arriving.

I don't usually upload bus nets, but this one is much better than my usual so I decided to upload it!
Here we have a Scania L113CRL with Wright Axcess Ultralow body working, wearing MTL Cream and Crimson with Merseybus logos.
Merseybus had 20 of these delivered to Gilmoss garage in 1996 for routes 12 & 13. Now, 15 years down the line, only one (5320) remains. Whether that will see service come Monday morning is a different story.
One solitary example (5309) lives a new life outside Arriva, as a preserved vehicle.
A former FirstGroup vehicle is V125 DND, a Scania Wright Axcess Ultralow, was included in the sale of First Chester to fellow Scottish company, Stagecoach. Green Hammerton based company, Harrogate Coach Travel, then acquired it and regularly put it into use on their X53 service. This service was introduced to replace part of First Bradford's 653 that was withdrawn as part of the economic downturn and First's rather poor previous management skills... The vehicle still carries a full First Group interior
T425GUG Scania L94UB-Wright Floline Axcess B40F New July 1999 First Bus Glasgow Fleet No 61025. Ex Yorkshire Rider (Fleet No 8125)
Here is a well travelled Scania L113CRL which has now found itself with First Leeds for the time being. New to Strathclyde as their SS78, and more recently workig in the Potteries with First PMT in Stoke, this is Wright Axcess Ultralow bodied 60131. It is seen here on Vicar Lane in Leeds city centre while operating cross city route 55 to Tingley Mills.
