Here is another view of this sweet little Alco for Chattahoochee Valley switching at West Point, Georgia way back in July 1978.
I recorded this fine looking KW while wandering around the 76 truck stop at Milwaukee in Oct of 1987.
This was made by holding two lenses together face-to-face to make a kind of improvised macro. It would probably help if the two lenses were the same size, though. File under Experiments.

When you're out looking for natural and scenic landscapes and your limited time wise, you always wish to have perfect and beautiful skies like I had back on the first day of summer. It's hit or miss. Sometimes the skies are perfect and other times, it's a bust. But when everything comes together, it's a gift from God. Just make sure you take a moment to enjoy it in between exposures.
There was only a 1-2 minutes when the purples exploded in the sky. I captured them and as soon as they came, they slipped back into the sky.

During the war, Lawrence fought with Arab irregular troops under the command of Emir Faisal, a son of Sherif Hussein of Mecca, in extended guerrilla operations against the armed forces of the Ottoman Empire. He persuaded the Arabs not to make a frontal assault on the Ottoman stronghold in Medina but allowed the Turkish army to tie up troops in the city garrison. The Arabs were then free to direct most of their attention to the Turks' weak point, the Hejaz railway that supplied the garrison. This vastly expanded the battlefield and tied up even more Ottoman troops, who were then forced to protect the railway and repair the constant damage. -> Wikipedia

Hartal" is a Gujurati word. "Har" means "everything" or "always"; "Tal" or "tala" means "to close". The word "hartal" means a day of mourning or protest, on which all the shops are shut and no-one goes to work or does any shopping.
During India’s struggle for independence Gandhi took up the hartal in the form of a one-day general strike and boycott of commercial activity during which people engaged in prayer and fasting.
The hartal is still a common form of protest even today - in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, for example.

The Imambara also has an amazing maze of corridors hidden in between its walls that are about 20 feet thick. This dense, dark maze called the ‘bhul bhulaiya’ is to be explored only if you are strong-hearted. It is a network of more than 1000 labyrinthine passages, some of which have dead-ends, some end at precipitous drops while others lead to entrance or exit points. Help of an "approved" guide is recommended if you want a tour of the secret labyrinth without getting lost.
