Aspens in Georgetown Canyon. I thought our dirt road adventures were over for the winter. Georgetown Canyon is plowed this winter for log trucks hauling logs from the Smokey Mine expansion.

Two Common Mergansers; not quite what this Great Blue Heron is looking for.

Brenden just hopping the spine. Was at the park for while when all of a sudden the sun popped under the clouds as it began to set, it made for amazing light. I added a bit of fill flash with my sb 600 on camera pointed towards the rider.

4800 EMD Horsepower shoves an inbound train out of Clarendon Hills. The 9907 survives at IRM as MARC #91

Back in April of 1982 I got a portait of this sweet Ford LNT at the old 76 Truck Stop in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Rummaging around in the oldies box again I came up with this shot. Taken during my high school again I found this pair of beauties at the old Felles Truck Stop in Sept. 1965 on Milwaukee's south side.

This Big old Autocar is still earning it's keep hauling back breaking loads for Dawes Heavy Hauling here in Milwaukee,Wis. I found this beast sitting down on Jones Island at the Port of Millwaukee in August of 2010.

Victory Transport had this fantastic Autocar running for them in August 1987 when I photographed it in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Allied Van Lines had some beautiful trucks leased to them and this Pete was one of them back in June 1989 when I Photographed it in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The oldies box came up with a few to post and this beast of an Autocar for Hennes Trucking is one of them. Milwaukee,Wisconsin October 1969.

Parking lines and Paving was using this sweet Autocar back in September 1986 when I snapped it in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

May 1982 is when I got this portrait of this wonderful Pete leased to Fred Olsen Transport while it was sitting at their terminal in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Here is another angle on this 56 KW I used to ride in during high school. My oldies box keeps handing out out these slides to post. This was taken in Milwaukee, Wis. in June 1969 two years after I graduated.

This Peterbilt leased to Anderson Trucking was picking up at Aqua Chem Corp. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in July 1981 when I got it's portrait.

While wandering around a truck stop in Mongomery,Al in July of 1978 I found this beautiful KW sitting off in a corner. I could pass up a portrait of it.

Oh these sweet oldies! I caught this Kenworth leased to Allied Van Lines turning the corner in down town Minniapolis, Minnesota in March 1970.

While sitting at the truck stop at Marysville,Ind. in July of 1986 I just had to grab a couple of shots of this beauty leased to Atlas Van Lines.

Fred Olson Motor Freight had this pretty Peterbilt leased to them and the photo was taken at their terminal in Milwaukee in May of 1982.

Apallo Transport was a division of Gross trucking and this truck was one of their fleet when I snapped while unloading at Leslie Paper. Milwaukee, Wisconsin April 1992.

Back in August 1981 All States Trucking had this nice looking KW leased to them when I photographed it picking up at Aqua Chem in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

shot on a standard one stop polaroid 600 film, was a bit funny to double expose the normal way so had to do it a differnt way which was more tricky and so produced some light leeks, but this one through my photo and through the light leeks caused from an earlier shot works (in my opinion) very well
