Back when Hanefeld Bros. was still in operation I stopped at their shop in Burnett, Wisconsin in September 1992 and got this photo of their sweet International straight cattle truck.

it just draws you in

Burrowing Owls, The Florida burrowing owl is classified as a "species of special concern" by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. This means burrows, owls, and their eggs are protected from harassment and/or disturbance by state law. Burrowing owls are also protected by the federal Migratory Bird Treaty Act.

This Peterbilt leased to America's Freight Lines was just begging me to photograph it, so I did. Milwaukee, Wisconsin March 1997.

Brenden just hopping the spine. Was at the park for while when all of a sudden the sun popped under the clouds as it began to set, it made for amazing light. I added a bit of fill flash with my sb 600 on camera pointed towards the rider. I especially like the shadow of the other rider in the bottom right of the picture.

Osborn Trucking has a very nice looking fleet. I don't know how many straight hoods they run if any, but boy they looked good. This shot is of the rig they had at the truck show at Waupun, Wis. on August 4, 1990 while making the parade route.

The oldies box treats me so well! It gave me this sweet Autocar for Hribar Trucking sitting in front of the dealership in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in Sept 1967.

While wandering around Toledo, Ohio in Mat of 1989 I found this fine Freightliner leased to Allied Van Lines. I'm just a sucker for those long and straight hoods!

Asplendh had this Freightliner sitting at Niles, Michigan,when I snapped it in June 2003.

Still got the sniffles, but I'm feeling fabulous today!

Tommy Abrahams was running this Autocar beauty in reefer service. Taken at a produce house in downtown Milwaukee,Wis in May 1994.

Ace Iron and Steel had a pair of these K100 KWs Hauling their products in July 1992. I caught this one taking a rest at their warehouse in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Even the cows are enjoying autumn.

Here is another view of this sweet little Alco for Chattahoochee Valley switching at West Point, Georgia way back in July 1978.

I recorded this fine looking KW while wandering around the 76 truck stop at Milwaukee in Oct of 1987.

The Needles at Dusk - Cannon Beach - Oregon

 

When you're out looking for natural and scenic landscapes and your limited time wise, you always wish to have perfect and beautiful skies like I had back on the first day of summer. It's hit or miss. Sometimes the skies are perfect and other times, it's a bust. But when everything comes together, it's a gift from God. Just make sure you take a moment to enjoy it in between exposures.

 

There was only a 1-2 minutes when the purples exploded in the sky. I captured them and as soon as they came, they slipped back into the sky.

While wandering around Seattle, Washington on July 5,1996 I was able to catch this T800 KW for Arco Oil.

I couldn't resist this KW for Ashland Chemical at their terminal in Milwaukee, Wis Nov 1992.

This wonderful old Alco for Chatahoochee Valley was chugging around West Point, Gorgia in July 1978. I couldn't resit getting a great series of photos of it and this is one of that series.
