Brenden just hopping the spine. Was at the park for while when all of a sudden the sun popped under the clouds as it began to set, it made for amazing light. I added a bit of fill flash with my sb 600 on camera pointed towards the rider. I especially like the shadow of the other rider in the bottom right of the picture.
Osborn Trucking has a very nice looking fleet. I don't know how many straight hoods they run if any, but boy they looked good. This shot is of the rig they had at the truck show at Waupun, Wis. on August 4, 1990 while making the parade route.
I took this today while on a walk when I went to help set up for the candlelight vigil a group of students is organizing on campus tomorrow night. This week is also National Volunteer Week, so I'm going to be busy & probably not flickring much. I'm motivated to get through the week & looking forward to going to take pictures on the weekend, though, because everything is starting to bloom & it all looks really beautiful. I know this is going to sound lame but: since I started photography as a hobby, I feel like I notice everything so much more & I get so excited to see flowers blooming & things changing day to day. I feel like I never was so happy for spring and I never noticed the small, daily changes the way I do this year.
