My friend just started a new band and asked me to help them with promotional stuff for their EP... This location is crazy and I plan on doing some really epic work there in the future.... and next time I will make sure I have all my stuff... Left chords to sync the strobes..... but i didn't just give up... these are all ambient light...

I've kind of come to realize that my style is really coming into the clear in my head... I haven't shot anything in a while that would really define my "style" but Im starting to learn that its about my use of light in a situation and my way of taking my "subpar" equipment and making a good shot of it. Take this shot for example I was rushing around all day and forgot my sync cords at home... did I just stop and reschedule a shoot (like i know a lot of other pros would do) no I admitted to myself that hey these pics arent going to be up to a certain level but the hell with it have some fun and see what you get.... and I'm super proud of myself after this day....

so it been a while since ive put anything on. the reason is because my camera is gone. done for. broken. so this means a while until i get a camera. :( ive been shooting in film but not developing it. ive been stressed from these last weeks until summer! this is old and from oregon :) SOOC i need my camera back :(

AWAKE AND SING

by Clifford Odets was directed by Eric Thibodeaux-Thompson and performed April 5-7 & 11-13, 2013

Synopsis – from A Noise Within Study Guide: "The Berger family apartment in the Bronx houses three generations in the same working-class Jewish family. It is in this apartment that Bessie Berger, indomitable matriarch, oversees the lefist leanings of her father Jacob, and attempts to influence the romantic yearnings of her son (Ralph) and potential matches for her daughter (Hennie). When the seemingly inescapable poverty of the Great Depression forces Bessie to rent out a room in the apartment to petty bookie and World War I veteran Moe Axelrod, she encounters a new challenge as he positions himself as suitor to young Hennie. Hennie has her own ideas for love — ideas which, when pursued, lead to serious consequences.

Bessie attempts to protect her family from high hopes and fruitless idealism, grounding her perceptions of reality in the cold truth of struggle. However, the Berger family has a will of its own and does not always support Bessie’s iron-fisted policies, as those who seek to provide a sense of freedom and hope for Ralph and Hennie enact their own redemptive yet heartbreaking plans."

I really like this shot. Just in the car and saw this beautiful sunset.

This is what I feel what I would look like when I wake up in the middle of the night. All I see is pitch black while laying down in a dark room.

This really didn't turn out the way I wanted it to.. but, oh well. I might redo this some time. I don't know if I like it or not. Plus you can see all the flaws.

I lay wide awake every night, tossing and turning. Wondering if I made the right choice, wondering if giving you the cold shoulder is wrong. Wondering how you could have done this to me. Trying to make myself believe you didn't really mean to hurt me. It's hard, and sometimes I feel like you don't get it... even when I scream it from the roof top. We were best friends, but you didn't seem to care about how I felt. That hurt more than anything...

-For you my dear friend, M! You'll be great and he'll realize what a great girl he missing out on! Love you, girly!
