This commissioned piece is non-transforming as per the awesome client's request. Hot Rod is Masterpiece scale, and has masterpiece grade articulation. He began as Masterpiece Sideswipe, I modified the chest/hood, upper legs, forearms, shoulders, legs and combined parts from other figures, including G1 hot rod's back/spoiler and side exhaust pipes. Added blue LEDs for his eyes, a small pistol and hand painted the flames on his chest.

Un gran rediseño de nuestro viejo amigo Bumblebee.
Primera figura que compro de la película. Me parece que casi todas tienen un excelente diseño, muy similares a los personajes, bien articulados y muy buenas transformaciones.
Este lo adquirí en Juguetón de Cemaco en más o menos ¢8,500, unos $16. Buen precio ya puesto en Costa Rica.

Another Transformers in the Metroplex lot (only the cab). After that I have bought the trailer and the rest of the pieces until now, that he´s almost complete, except for the little fists.
This commissioned piece uses parts and a combination of pieces from a G1 Perceptor, Masterpiece Starscream, GDO Hot Spot, Generations Inferno, articulated hands and more to create my rendition of a (non-transformable) Generation One Perceptor. He also has 2 blue LED eyes and rifle.

Otro de mis Transformers preferidos que tenía que volver a conseguir. Falta el arma y los stickers, pero está en muy estado; hasta le funcionan las chispas del pecho. Parte del lote con Metroplex.
So, here's Autobot Rollbar; the newest Autobot to join the 3rd Transformers Movie. Throughout the past few days there had been numerous reports of a mysterious new Red Giant Jeep at the Transformers 3 set. Those who know G1, will immediately recognize him as Throttlebot Rollbar from that continuity.
The "T B" logo on the back of the vehicle stands for Tommy Built. Initially this jeep was built not for the movie, but YouTube videos (now taken down by Paramount) prove that the "turret" behind the vehicle is fitted with a Machine Gun and a N.E.S.T gunman will wield the weapon

Hot Rod is one of the best figures of the 1986 movie with an very striking and well designed alternate mode, and an advanced robot mode for its time.
I got this figure in an excellent deal in eBay, practically untouched in its box.
This commissioned piece uses parts and a combination of pieces from a G1 Perceptor, Masterpiece Starscream, GDO Hot Spot, Generations Inferno, articulated hands and more to create my rendition of a (non-transformable) Generation One Perceptor. He also has 2 blue LED eyes and rifle.
This is deluxe class custom is an Autobot named Copperhead. Part of the Transformers Prime universe, the character is based off the previous legion sized customs I did for my local Arizona Transformers group. He's pictured in his robot mode.
Upscaled to the deluxe class first-edition Bumblebee figure, he's got more detail than I could have squeezed into the mini-figures.
Somewhat hamstrung by the original deco, I couldn't quite explore beyond the original paint colors for fear of straying too far from the original project. I did add some more silver and other highlights, but overall the paint scheme just doesn't pop as much as I wished it did. The difference between the metallic red and medium brown just doesn't have enough contrast. Also I learned that while I can remove pins easily, it's not always the wisest decision and is just easier to paint around most pin hinges.
I'm still glad to have this figure as he's a nice memento of the crazy 10-figure-build project.

Another commission, and like his bro Smokescreen, Prowl is non-transforming. I've added LED eyes to him, articulated (modified) hands, re-worked the lower legs and rebuilt the back. His over-the-shoulder rocket launchers are also custom built.

Uno de los mejores diseños que he visto en Transformers recientemente y uno de los mejores de la película. La transformación es bastante compleja y divertida. El modo robot es excelente, super articulado y se puede poner en poses muy divertidas y el modo alterno es muy real. Hubiera preferido sin las llamas, pero igual no me molestan mucho.
Un gran regalo de un gran amigo. Muchas gracias bro!

Inicialmente Arcee fue diseñada para salir en la película, pero al final la excluyeron, sin embargo sí sacaron la figura.
Muy buen diseño en ambos modos, aunque el arma le queda un poco grande y es complicado hacer buenas poses con el arma puesta.
Esperemos que salga en la segunda película.
En esta foto junto con Arcee tamaño Scout que curiosamente pareciera que la hicieron para montarla en la Deluxe, todo calza muy bien.

Kaboom! Here's another commissioned piece...Warpath. As per request, Warpath is non-transforming. This allowed me to also put articulated hands on him and 2 LED lights in his eyes.
Transformers. Robots in disguise. That's what it's all about. They come from a far away place in search of the mythical Energon. Or something like that. What's noticeable though is how they've managed to up their game in the recent years. Rather than transforming into cars and the like their current favourite is taking the guise of pretty young Instagram influencers in the reasonable hopes of acquiring a sugar daddy who will provide them with all the Energon they can handle. Even the Autobots are in on it. It's working out pretty well for them so far. Look at all the pretty binary in her hair...

Here are my Transformers Classics representations of the original Autobot crew who were aboard the Ark in the original Transformers Generation 1 cartoon. Pictured in their vehicle modes.
Seeing these original members in a lineup is part of the reason that I collect these figures. These classic characters were a huge part of my childhood.
They are arranged to how they were in the cartoon's scale chart, and for the most part these toys all fit the part pretty well. I've substituted third-party and Japanese Henkei versions where I saw fit.
Trailbreaker (Trailcutter) is way too small, Huffer is a bit too big, and Windcharger is too small.
