Another Transformers in the Metroplex lot (only the cab). After that I have bought the trailer and the rest of the pieces until now, that he´s almost complete, except for the little fists.

Although I didn't take this image myself, I did some Photoshop with it. In fact, it is two separate pictures at first. Then I edited it in Photoshop to make it as one image...to make it work as a pair.
Well, it’s been almost 9 months since I last posted something here! Been very busy with work and this is been ready for a few months but I was only able to upload it now.
Loved the cartoons when I was a kid and really liked the first Transformers movie from 2007, so I decided to build bumblebee, which is by far my favourite Autobot!
This was quite a challenge as it is way out of my comfort zone.
For those attending the Skaerbaeck Fan Weekend in a couple of weeks, if you would like to see it, it will be there! :)
Thanks to Markus Rollbühler for the incentive and the tips :)
And no, it doesn't transform into a beautiful Camaro!
Hope you guys like it!
Finally got around to building Bumblebee's alt. mode, two years after building his original figure. He was the last of my Transformers that needed an alt. mode built.
I tried to model his original toy's "Penny Racer" proportions, which his original cartoon model also seemed to use, instead of more realistic VW Beetle proportions, and I think it came out pretty well.
He's pictured here with his pals Optimus and Jazz (obviously), and I think they scale nicely together for LEGO City.
Bulkhead ponders the ongoing battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
Can't we all just get along?

Esta es la versión Voyager de Optimus Prime. Lo adquirí en eBay en una ganga, pero no pensaba dejármelo, al final me lo dejé.

This is the Voyager version of Movie Optimus Prime. I bought it on eBay on a bargain, but I didn't want to keep it. At the end I kept it.
Just a mix between a Transformer and a Gundam. Messed around with the concept for a while, it started at BrickSlopes with an arm from some table scraps. As you can see, it escalated quickly and I have a full-fledged transformer. Except for the fact that it doesn't transform.
Decided on building my own Prime Minifig before Hasbro releases their line of Transformer themed building brick sets.
Quarantine time killing continues. G1 Metroplex in City Mode gets added to my collection of 80s play sets in LEGO form. It doesn't transform, but considering I was only using what I had in my unsorted brick bucket, I think it came out pretty great. His arm towers open to accommodate minifigures and he can park the Autobots in car mode.
I'll try and do a proper photo shoot tomorrow, but he's sitting on four baseplates. I'm not sure I'll be able to light him properly. I also have no idea where I'm going to keep him...
The Alpha and Omega. The beginning and the end. Time for a bit of rest on this Transformers theme and focus on some new things.....
“FUNCTION: SOLDIER OF FORTUNE
'You wait for your plan to come together, I'll improvise.'
Clubber believes the greatest weapon on the battlefield is reputation. That's why he makes a big show of being a gun-for-hire, a soldier so at ease with war that he'd pick it as his occupation. To drive this point home, he wears lavish displays of his personal wealth on the battlefield. Each gold piece is symbolic of another enemy cut down, and his opponents are terrified of becoming another link in his chain. But, the odd thing is, no Autobot can recall ever actually paying Clubber for his services. Which has lead to rumors that he's not really in it for the money at all, but because he genuinely believes in the Autobot cause. But his teammates keep that rumor tightly under control. They'd never want to compromise Clubber's efficiency by letting him know they suspect he's really a noble soul. And they certainly don't want the Decepticons to find out.”
Okay, I lied. One more.
A groupshot of the Autobot models i built over the past few years, i am working on the instructions, which will launch very soon on my new website, including a lot more pdf instructions for some of my models to download. Stay tuned!
One of my favorite Autobots in a bigger scale.
The F40 windscreen and the two red mudguards in the back
are the parts that inspired this whole model.

Here is my version of the Autobots symbol on a 32x32 footprint using 139 pieces. "Autobots, roll out!"
Building both digital and physical at the same time,
to finalize a few more Transformers models.
This theme never seems to let go of me.
With so many characters that fit the Lego color palette,
it will be another decade of building i guess :D
The LEGO City energy plant is safe, now that Optimus Prime has arrived. Better luck next time, Decepticons.
Optimus Prime is articulated at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees, and features his trademark ion blaster. His truck mode carries two minifigures sitting side-by-side and features his classic G1 trailer (which, I'll be honest, is just a giant brick...but it looks good).

I've had this idea in my head for a few weeks now: Prime and Sharka together in a photo. Upon seeing the shot finished, I'm kinda disappointed. It's.... rather boring. A truck dropping off a car? Not extremely dramatic.
Oh well.
Prime 52, week 7.
First model in a line of following Transformers creations.
Not all of them will be built with LEGO though.
On this character the colors did work too well to not give it a try.
Original from the asian Dorvack toyline Roadbuster was next to
Jetfire and Whirl one of the more advanced HASBRO Transformers releases.
Diecast and high detail transformation made them called Autobot Deluxe vehicles.
The new LEGO balljoints came handy for the transformation on the feet and body.
Also the new 1x2 curved slopes in dark brown made for a perfect headpiece.
Stay tuned for more model uploads very soon!
Have a great weekend!
