I recommend that you aim slightly higher than the middle remember, the lens is lower than what you are looking out of and will mess up your angles.

Manufacturer: Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo (S.E.A.T.), Martorell - Spain

Type: 600E

Engine: 767cc straight-4 water-cooled

Power: 25 bhp / 4.800 rpm

Speed: 118 km/h

Production time: 1969 - 1973

Production outlet: 245,000

Curb weight: 610 kg

Special:

- The 600 was the FIAT's first rear-engine car (designed by Dante Giacosa) and it was also produced in Spain (Zona Franca, Barcelona) as the SEAT 600, only for the Spanish market.

- FIAT stopped production in 1969 (sold the entire production line to the Zastava factory in Kragujevac, Serbia) and allowed SEAT to build and export a new 600E to Europe with a FIAT badge (also as a FIAT☺).

- The 600E had "normal" doors (no suicide doors anymore), a new and more powerful engine and a new dashboard.

- Thanks to the rear-engine placement, there was relatively ample interior seating plus luggage space in the front.

- It has a four-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes.

Photographed using the Pentax MZ-50, and Kodak Ultramax 400 film. Not so keen on the autofocus in this photo.

Hopefully an improved version of the photo I submitted earlier where I've removed most of the bare trees in the background....

The the main equation to Moving Dimensions Theory is on all the Gold 45 Revolver lingerie & swimsuits/shirts/etc.: dx4/dt=ic. Yes I have a Ph.D. in physics! :) You can read more about my research and Hero's Journey Physics here:

herosjourneyphysics.wordpress.com/ MDT PROOF#2: Einstein (1912 Man. on Rel.) and Minkowski wrote x4=ict. Ergo dx4/dt=ic--the foundational equation of all time and motion which is on all the shirts and swimsuits. Every photon that hits my Nikon D800e's sensor does it by surfing the fourth expanding dimension, which is moving at c relative to the three spatial dimensions, or dx4/dt=ic !

Polaroid Week Day 3

Polaroid Autofocus 660

Impossible PX-600

A very interesting point and shoot autofocus camera from Canon, released in 1986. The double focal length sibling of the award-winning Sure Shot Supreme, it offered a sharp, contrasty 2.8/40mm 4e/3g lens which turned into a 4.9/70mm 7e/6g lens at the press of a switch located at the back. 40mm is my favorite focal length, the usual 35mm of most P&S of the time being a tad too wide for my taste. There is also a flash switch allowing full user control with ON, OFF and AUTO modes available, a soft focus filter for that special 80's portrait look, multiple exposure capability, a self timer, an LCD frame counter and backlight compensation. What's really great is that the lens barrel is threaded (40.5mm) so that a filter or extra lens hood can be attached.

When changing to the 70mm focal length, the whole lens barrel extends forward with the help of a noisy motor and provides a very comfortable grip ala SLR. Exposure-wise, the Sure Shot Tele provides a wide range from 1/8s at f2.8 to 1/500s at f22 when the 40mm length is chosen. At 70mm, exposure ranges from 1/3s at f4.9 to 1/350s at f/27. ASA range is 50-1600

The usual drawbacks of early P&S are present: Noisy film advance and an expensive 2CR5 6V lithium battery needed to power the camera, although I have a small stock of batteries for my EOS 50 SLR and some of my other Sure Shots.

In practice, the Sure Shot Tele is a great user P&S camera. As in most Sure Shots, the lens is sharp and contrasty and image quality generally remains the same between the 40mm and 70mm focal lengths. Size and heft are just perfect, not too small or too light with a very ergonomic, non-slip grip. The viewfinder is large enough for a clear accurate view with parallax correction marks and the usual green/red LED indicators confirming focus acquisition, need for flash, etc. The AF system is pretty fast and accurate with prefocus capability, although it seemed to struggle without obvious reason in a couple of cases.

If one can look beyond its strange look, this is a very capable P&S camera that is widely available on eBay. Mine cost 0.99 GBP plus postage including the original Canon case.

IMPOSSIBLE Pioneer Color600 Gen2

This is in 87F+ heat and the colors seem to punch up even more in these "spring" temps in California! I actually don't know if I want this film to get any more "realistic" in it's color reproduction...just develop faster and I'd be sold.

I shot a lot of this pack with my new Polaroid Tele lens. I love the focal length (85mm ish) it gives my camera and really flattens scenes like this to pop the foreground.

The new Sony a1 has an incredible feature called Bird-Eye Autofocus, where I can turn on all 759 autofocus points and when the camera detects a bird's eye, it'll lock onto that a track the eye. Previously, the camera might have locked on something in the background or foreground and stayed focused on that. I didn't dare use all AF points because of that. Now I can. Here, I had too much lens for as close as the subject was, but this is the fifth frame of the series with the eye in the frame, shooting at 20 frames per second that's 1/4-second, with the eye at the very edge of the frame and the camera has locked onto the eye. It stays locked on and I don't need to worry about focus jumping to something closer or with more contrasts, as was the worry in the past.

The Fotodiox 2x Teleconverter for Canon cameras effectively doubles the focal length of your lens while maintaining all automatic controls. Here's an example image: the photo on the left is the lens without the teleconverter, and the one on the right is with the teleconverter attached.
