The autofocus Carl Zeiss Contax G lenses is being reactivated by this amazing manual focusing mount made by a HK brand Shogun in Japan.
The lens was put on NEX-7.

So, shooting children, especially young babies, can be a nightmare. The reason for this as you can imagine is, they simple do not stop moving. I am moving autofocus boxes around like nobodies business to keep things where they need to be. So this one ended up slightly wonky as I was on the floor at a funny angle (Being 6 foot 3 means I don't like lying on the ground). So in order to correct this I would need to straighten the door, but it cuts off too much of the bottom if I do this, affecting the composition. So I left it. Because that's art ;-)

Taken with Nikon F100 film camera and Sigma 70–300mm F4–5.6 D APO DG Macro telephoto autofocus lens, on AgfaPhoto APX 400 black & white film. Developed in Adox Adonal, 1+50 dilution at 22.5°C.

As we were walking across the Broadway Bridge I noticed Union Station was going to be framed in the girders of the bridge so I decided to take a shot. Out of the corner of my eye I saw a guy on his bike on his phone crossing the bridge and it all came together.

I've been running really low on Instant film, and I had no idea if this twin pack I got from my Dad a while ago would be any good, but it wasn't getting any less expired...so I loaded it up into my SX-70 and took it down the the Temecula Rod Run.
And here's the thing. I would've never planned something like this, these dead zones creating a great theme for the collage, but once I saw the first two shots come out like this, I shot for the effect...and man, I really like how it came out.

The pretty model goddess with blue-green eyes and sandy brown hair with blond highlights was modeling a red 45SURF shirt and Goln'N'Virtue Gold 45 Revolver lingerie! Wearing cutoff blue jeans with a leather buffalo nickel cowboy hat and black snakeskin cowboy boots!
The Colt 45 Revolver comes directly form Clint Eastwood's/Sergio Leone's Fistful of Dollars--my favorite Western--heck my favorite all-time film, exalting the classical, archetypal themes I seek in all my photography!
She was tall, tan, thin, pretty, and fit with gorgeous blue eyes and long, long legs! Shot with the new D800E and my favorite workhorse lens the very sharp Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II AF-S Nikkor Zoom Lens. A slight change of pace for all my flickr fans!

Nikon D810 Photos Pro Women's Surfing Van's US Open Sports Photography Tamron SP 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD !
I shot in DX mode which crops away the extra pixels and takes me 1.5X closer while allowing for up to 7 FPS with the Nikon D810's Nikon MB-D12 Battery Grip using the 8 AA battery option! 8 Duracles took me through around 3,000 shots no problem--maybe more! I was shooting at the equivalent of 900mm with the 1.5x crop factor! Pretty close! Had I gone with the Nikon D4s, I would have gotten 12 fps, but no DX crop factor, as the sensor has only around 14mp, compared to the d810's 36 megapixels! Sure the larger pixel size on the Nikon D4s full frame sensor comes in handy indoors or at night, but in the brigth sun, there's more than enough light for the smaller pixels in crop mode! Sure we lose some pixels from the outer edges when shooting in DX crop mode, but most of those pixels would be cropped away in lightroom anyway. And the smaller files make the memory cards last longer, while also upping the FPS to 7 shots per second! Not quite 12 FPS< but still awesome and enough I felt!

This SX-70 made in 1982 has been amazing at how well it handles exposure. Gone are the days of setting the L/D wheel all the way to dark to get a shot...now I have a true 1.5 stops compensation each way if I want it!
