This camera is actually quite famous - back in its day it was considered a groundbreaker in the 35mm SLR autofocus "world". This one has led a very gentle life - I've fully tested it with film and the thing that impressed me the most was how quickly the autofocus locked on to my subjects. The lens is a Minolta AF Zoom 35-70mm f4 and is sharp as a tack!
The camera, lens, and 4 (AAA) batteries weigh in at 847 grams (1 lb 14 oz)!
This outstanding camera and lens set is available for purchase at www.ccstudio2380.com
The Autofocus AI latched onto the flower on the right. Never saw the bird. But it's close enough to the focal range to just be ok and I liked its pose and the story. This was found in the National Botanical Gardens in Kirstenbosch. I think these gardens might be the most popular with nectar loving birds I've ever seen. The number of resident birds, both heard and seen, is just incredible.

These images were taken on a walk in a local park yesterday morning ....the night before had been rainy, and the morning air was very fresh and sweet .....there was still some snow on the ground....but the temperature is finally getting a little warmer....and the walk was very pleasant ...

The building is located in the Tiergarten park, near the Carillon and the new German Chancellery. It was formerly known as the Kongresshalle Convention Center. It was a gift from the United States, designed in 1957 by the American architect Hugh Stubbins, as part of the Interbau exhibition. John F. Kennedy spoke here during his visit to West Berlin in June 1963. On May 21, 1980, the roof collapsed killing one person and wounding many others. The building was rebuilt with its original design and reopened in 1987, in time for the 750th anniversary of the founding of Berlin. Berliners also know him as Schwangere Auster ("pregnant oyster").

When taking action photos using the center focus point usually yields the best focusing speed. Focus points are sometimes referred to as AF points they are the dots inside the viewfinder. You can have a variety of AF points, from a single point to multiple points and even having the camera select the points automatically.
I find that the camera’s ability to choose AF points not very accurate. Most of the time I select the points manually. Most DSLR cameras have that option. It varies from camera to camera on how to select the points. Normally you will need to push a button located somewhere on the back of the camera and the turn a command wheel or toggle to move the points. I use the M-Fn button on my Canon and the command wheel to move the AF point/points around the frame.
The user manual will definitely explain how to choose an AF point. Some camera have lots of autofocus settings that can be complicated. My Canon 5D MkIII has loads of settings and options that can take hours to figure out completely what every option and setting means. Some basic DSLR’s have very little options.
