This was a special project for a super patient returnring customer. Jetfire began as a Macross VF-1J Super Valkyrie. I repainted the super parts and the VF-1J to Autobot Jetfire's scheme. In addition, I replaced the head with Generations Jetfire head, and added blue LEDs inside, which are controlled by a power pack and on/off switch inside the cockpit. Finished him off with a super glossy trademark light blue canopy on the cockpit.

My personal criteria to buy Jazz and Prowl:
Jazz: must have racing stripes
Prowl: must be a police car
Jazz is the character that I've bought the most Reprolabels for. One each for the Alternators, WST and now Legends versions.
Pointblank from G1 Transformers cartoon series, turns into a futuristic speedster. Transformation doesn't require reassembly of parts.
I am taking inspiration from both his original toy version from the 80s and also some design cues from his cartoon/comic version.

The sturdiest Autobot I've built, and the easiest to transform. Which is appropriate, I suppose, given how often the character blows himself up with his own experiments.
Liked the smooth hubcaps...would have used smooth black tires but I used all mine on Jazz.
More night lights.

Left: 1/125" @ f/16, 80mm f/2.8 lens. ISO 100, WB flash.
Right: 9-stop bracketed series from 1/2" to 2 minutes @ f/16, plus one extra shot at 1/125" @ f/16, 80mm f/2.8 lens. ISO 100, WB flash.
Post in Capture One Pro 7.2.3 and Photoshop CC. HDR done with Nik HDR Efex Pro 2.
Strobist info:
Left: Photogenic PL1500-SL in small softbox at 1/2 power high to camera left, aimed down. Photogenic PL1500-R in 7" reflector at 1/4 power to camera right to create the hard shadow. Nikon SB-800 at full power fired into a white sheet of foam core below the light to fill in some of the falloff from the other two lights.
Right: To prevent light from bleeding through the face of the shield, I took a shot at 1/125" @ f/16 with one of my lights (Photogenic PL1500-R) in a small softbox aimed up at the ceiling and set to 1/16 power. That shot is layered over the HDR shot in Photoshop, using a vector mask to allow the glowing parts to come through.
Nombre: Grapple
This commissioned piece is part of a set, requested non-transforming, which allowed me a little more freedom in redesigning some elements to improve his robot mode. Also, added 2 blue LEDs for his eyes. Paint work also included a little minor wear and tear effects, as Ironhide should have.
This is my model of OPTIMUS PRIME vehicle mode 2 made in cardboard. I drawn myself all the pieces with my hands without templates, the colors and sizes are taken from design in square notebook. The robot design is original from TV animated series TRANSFORMERS produced by HASBRO in 1985. At the end of the Cybertron’s gold age, Megatron injuried to Orion Pax, then Alpha Trion rebuilt him in Optimus Prime the new leader of the Autobots before the defeat of Sentinel Prime. Now Optimus transforms into a tractor trailer truck. The music was composed by Johnny Douglas and Robert J. Walsh.

Grimlock is the leader of the Dinobots. He's incomplete, but in good condition.
Kaboom! Here's another commissioned piece...Warpath. As per request, Warpath is non-transforming. This allowed me to also put articulated hands on him and 2 LED lights in his eyes.
Not quite done with the MM theme yet. When you have a house full of toys, why not!
The majestic Optimus Prime, more than meets the eye!
Nombre: Arcee
Like many of the early transformers, these toys predated the show and were originally designed and sold in Japan.
Nombre: Metroplex

Originally a Headmaster, this particular Autobot is a bookish computer programmer, here represented in a slightly less streamlined alt-mode than his usual sports car. Just because. Also, I don't have much brown and tan plates, so couldn't really pull off a sports car.
The antenna and stuff was fun.
Toy Story Friday Episode IV:
Another episode of Autobot vs. Deception. Optimus Prime having a hard time figuring out where to plug these headphones. I can almost hear Megatron snickering away. Happy Friday.

This commissioned piece uses parts and a combination of pieces from a G1 Perceptor, Masterpiece Starscream, GDO Hot Spot, Generations Inferno, articulated hands and more to create my rendition of a (non-transformable) Generation One Perceptor. He also has 2 blue LED eyes and rifle.

A rather vain character, Blitz prefers to spend most of his time in vehicle mode. Also a student of the Metallikato under Jazz.
No relation to any official Transformers character.
