First model in a line of following Transformers creations.
Not all of them will be built with LEGO though.
On this character the colors did work too well to not give it a try.
Original from the asian Dorvack toyline Roadbuster was next to
Jetfire and Whirl one of the more advanced HASBRO Transformers releases.
Diecast and high detail transformation made them called Autobot Deluxe vehicles.
The new LEGO balljoints came handy for the transformation on the feet and body.
Also the new 1x2 curved slopes in dark brown made for a perfect headpiece.
Stay tuned for more model uploads very soon!
Have a great weekend!

Thanks Phil for the olive green part supply ;)
I've had this idea in my head for a few weeks now: Prime and Sharka together in a photo. Upon seeing the shot finished, I'm kinda disappointed. It's.... rather boring. A truck dropping off a car? Not extremely dramatic.
Oh well.
Prime 52, week 7.
A very boxy design in his Nissan Vanette altmode, the transformation and fitting on this worked out very sleak.
Love those Speed Champion parts, my seed elements that started that whole Transformers project madness.
Brothers in arms as altmode Lambo Countach, the botmode of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker is totally different.
Transformers Week
After taking all these shots I realized that had I forgotten to put that purple thingy back on Devastator's chest ( it fell off in transit ) - oh well!
Maybe Godziila ripped it off?
I think it was time to build a Transformer that has never been produced as a toy or for the storyline.
Also i wanted to build that car for a long time.
Well actually since i knew about the new light blue parts.
This will be my last creation for this year.
It´s also kind of an Anniversary creation
because i started building LEGO again
10 years ago and got a LEGO set that christmas.
When you know the Matchbox Superkings i grew up with
you propably also know why i pict light blue.

Enjoy life and the start of the new year.
Jazz built digital and physical, pictures of the full physical collection will follow soon.
This is taking so much time... :P
A group of Generation 1 Masterpiece Autobots at the ready. Pictured in their robot modes.

Another of the minibots, Seaspray comes in really classic Lego colors.
I have the physical model on my desk at the moment, he is fun to play with.
Another of the minibots, Beachcomber is a cool little Bot, he transforms by extending his body lenght too, which was not easy on that scale.
Brothers in arms as altmode Lambo Countach, the botmode of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker is totally different.
Got to love Transformers, and my cool lamp (from Gayle for Christmas) keeps the good guys right on my desk.

Can you imagine i have all of those in physical model form already and working slowly through the digita versions.
Next up for sure instructions and who knows some animations maybe.... :)
If i can find a talented char rigger, i do not have to pay for sure :D
Retooling and repainting was a big thing for Hasbro on the TF G1 line back in the 80s, thats for sure.
Instructions available
Does not look like it, but he was very complex to build.
The physical model is a lot of fun, with his chunky backpack.
Same Fuso T951 altmode, but different crane setup and part usage, those nexo knight torso parts for the feet.
Grapple for sure has the solartower model from the "masterbuilder" episode.
The Autobots' chain of command. Somewhat inspired from Shepard Fairey's propaganda. Could've used a reflector looking at this in hindsight.
F-35B in the process of transforming into it's STOVL configuration. Note the streamer coming off of the lower forward lift door as the jet still has a lot of forward momentum.

So.. this is the last pic of my hobby filled vacation. Worked on Real Grade Sky Grasper, MP-10 Optimus Prime, Deluxe Mirage, not Ironhide aka Weapons Specialist, diorama, calender, and pics. Whew.. my eyes!
Anyway, I painted Prime with light gunmetal, grey metal, bare metal silver, flat black, and gold. I'll post more later on. I'm really happy with the results. Especially the feet.
