I know there's an aurora going on, but its not quite dark yet, and Ive got to go into Inverurie. So I set up Canon remote capture with my 60d on a 30 minuet delay, then a 20 second exposure every 30 seconds, and this is the result, with an auroral arc just above the treetops. Taken on the 1st November 2012, between 1757 and 1812 UTC, 30 Images stacked using startrails, 18mm lens, f2.8, 800 ISO, 209 second exposures.
