Anamorphic mural created by Leon Keer and Massina during Vibrations Urbaines Festival in Pessac, France with Augmented Reality by Joost Spek.
Leon Keer is a specialist in creating anamorphic street art. The 3d effect caused by this technique is only visible from one viewpoint. The artwork invites spectators to grab their phone and interact with the art.
The Leon Keer app connects Augmented Reality with the anamorphic art. By scanning the painting with your smartphone or tablet, you can see how the painting will come to life.
If you are not on location you can also download an image (www.leonkeer.com/ar/) and use that as the marker to start the 3d animation.
REFF presented the fake institution and the AR Drug at the Courtauld Institute in London.
The meeting served also as a chance to organize further steps in REFF's education program on the methodological reinvention of reality.

Augmented reality is the result of using technology to superimpose information — sounds, images and text — on the world we see. Augmented reality (AR) is one of the biggest technology trends right now. AR let us see the real-life environment right in front of us—trees swaying in the park, dogs chasing balls, kids playing soccer—with a digital augmentation overlaid on it. I was taking some photos at Gasworks Park when these two gentlemen just about waked by until they realized what I was doing. They stopped and talked a little bit about this game they were playing on their phones/tablets. It's an augmented reality where you collected points and achieve objectives by walking around your city. They asked for a shot as they walked by playing the AR, and this is what came of it.
