A fountain in the shape of an eight-pointed star - another popular symbol in Islamic Architecture derived from the rotating cube. The glass wall of the atrium provides a serene view of the Doha coast and people enjoy sitting here.
The main atrium sets the tone, a blatantly obvious burned out ice-cream van as the information kiosk. But around it, not very subtle riffs on classic sculptures.

The new UCR Barbara and Art Culver Center of the Arts is nearing completion. Opening in October, 2010 the Culver Center's new Atrium includes a spectacular multicolor LED theatrical lighting system allowing it to change to many different colors.

This mesh roof forms part of the new Bristol Cabot Circus shopping centre, which opened in September 2008, it's very nicely designed architecture, it manages to give the shopper the feeling they're outside (they're not).

Bijzondere kersversiering staat tentoongesteld in het Atrium.
Meer dan 300 scholieren hebben de afgelopen weken samen met de
kunstenaars van Topaze gewerkt aan de totstandkoming van negen
symbolische kaarsen van twee meter hoog, met daarop geschilderde houten
paneeltjes.
Haagse scholieren hebben zich laten inspireren door de westerse
tradities en gebruiken rondom Kerstmis en
Oud- en Nieuwviering. In Den Haag wonen veel jongeren met verschillende
culturele achtergronden en zij hebben de gebruiken en tradities van hun
eigen families toegevoegd. Kom het kleurrijk versierde Atrium bekijken!
