his is the old germany mall from 1913 where the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel
was filmed. I was lucky to take this pictures in january 2016. They will finish the renovation of the building soon and open up next year. Fingers crossed for the pretty nice old lady.
Visiting the Rijksmuseum, I stopped by the library that had an amazing light coming through the windows. There was a glass door that was sound proof, which shut you off from the rest of the museum so it was nice to get away from whispering crowds. I got lucky with the childrens' silhouettes.
The Rijksmuseum Research Library is one of the main art libraries in the world. Catalogues of auctions and exhibitions, trade and collection catalogues, as well as books, periodicals and annual reports relating to the museum collections have been collected without interruption since 1885.
The library is situated in the main building of the Rijksmuseum and houses a reading room and a study room.
Security cameras everywhere you look at. I am not sure if I should feel more comfortable and safe or beeing watched at every step that I do.
Have a great day, folks.
A festive interior view of Liberty London, looking up into the central atrium at the handcrafted Good Ship Liberty suspended above the store. The ship, crewed by playful elves and surrounded by presents, hangs in the heart of the space and echoes the famous galleon weathervane on the rooftop, capturing the atmosphere of Liberty at Christmas.
Liberty’s flagship building on Great Marlborough Street is a Grade II listed London landmark, built in 1924 in a Tudor‑revival, timber‑framed style using oak and teak from two decommissioned Royal Navy ships.
Designed by Edwin T. Hall and Edwin S. Hall, its mock Tudor façade, wood panelled interiors and triple atrium layout reflect founder Arthur Lasenby Liberty’s vision of an Arts and Crafts inspired ship of craftsmanship and design moored in the West End.

Day 27/365.
Early morning shot of The Atrium at Fed Square. Great spot for getting shots of the patterns and reflections. Also inside during the afternoon on a sunny day is really cool with all the shadows.
