Seeing the first pics of the new underwater City sets put me in an aquatic mood today. A one-person biomorphic sub with mutli-use arms (camera, rock drill, grabby hands, lights). When you're in the mood to just jump in the cockpit and drift along with the current for a while. There's a small cargo bin for stashing whatever you find on the ocean floor, be it treasure, samples or discarded rubbish.
The cockpit was one of those tablescraps that you have sitting around for ages, waiting patiently for an new idea.
This is the Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. One of the largest "island resorts" in the world, if not the largest.
I'm ashamed to say I'd never heard of the resort before...until it loomed large on the horizon early in the morning. But to the North Americans on board, this is a famous and much publicised resort.
OK, so this lockdown lark must be getting to me. I'm starting to imagine that an upturned plastic Chocolate Box inner might look like the legendary city of Atlantis when shot on a light pad against a blue background and then reflected and mucked about with in Photoshop. Help!! :-)
Sooooo I've repainted my Lagoona :D I have a lot of other MHs waiting for ooak and this one is another temporary repaint... but it was fun xDDD
I know I will paint them all again and again until they'll look perfect to me OTL

This crossbedded dome with its red and white stripes presents a imposing facade in Atlantis, another "lost city" on the north side of Paria Canyon.
See the embedded notes for location of the main Lost City I discovered on a hike five months earlier on the south side of the canyon.

Artwork named "Atlantis", made by Finnish artist Tea Mäkipää and Icelandic artist Halldor Ulfarsson, exhibited 2009. Tea's works often deal with ecological disaster, depicting a world afterwards, such as raised sea levels.
Atlantis is a fictional island in a story that concludes with Atlantis submerging into the Atlantic Ocean.

Atlantis Fritillary is found in Canada and in the northeastern portions of the United States from Maine down to the more southern range in West Virginia and sporadically in the highest elevations of Garrett County in Maryland.
The preferred habitat are cool forests with adjacent meadows, stream sides and glades such as the one in this photo. This fritillary is often encountered near streams where it can nectar on Common Milkweed and various species of Dogbane.

This old Eder bridge belongs to the Edersee - Atlantis, the bridge sank several meters below the surface of the water when the Edertal was flooded. In the years when the Niedenschlag is missing and the Schaffartsamt drains water for shipping on the Weser, the old sunken structures come to the fore again ... unfortunately more and more in recent years.

On one side, a deep-sea DIver Drone, programmed to explore and fight off the beats of the deep. On the other, a ferocious Lobster Guardian, his right arm replaced by that of a stone Guardian Beast who failed to protetc it's Key. Who will win over the control of Atlantis' secrets?
My entry for Round 1 of the 2018 Bio-Cup. Theme being Atlantis. Originally it was just gonna be the lobster monster, but I felt it was needing a little extra humpf so there's where the diver comes in. Not my best work, but still happier than antecipated with it.
