Starting to lose the window molding, bits of the fridge and stove in the brightness... not sure why the colors come out muddy looking to me.

My last class we were told to make cutouts of 3D objects, and this here is the result of making a little 3D "world" out of our cut-outs...then we made paintings out of small sections of the structures
This was the 1st assignment. It was, of course, to take a photo of hands.
My husband and I went to Anime Fest back in September (one of these days I'll get around to uploading all my con photos :p). The con had people there to take blood donations. Chris and I hadn't ever donated before so we decided to take this opportunity to do so.
I thought the blood donating was a good chance to get my "hands" photo so I started snapping away. The nurse lady taking the blood gave me some attitude, telling me I had to ask his permission before photographing him. I quickly explained that he was my husband. :p I always get nervous when taking photos and hate for people to get onto me about it.
But anyhoo, got a pretty good photo out of it, just as she was sticking the needle in.

I really really want a wider angle lens... :( This assignment at least had me learn how to use the remove trigger on my new camera!

I took it yesterday as soon as I saw her photo, but didn't have my camera cord with me.
