The Campaign for a Scottish Assembly was a cross non-party pressure group launched in 1980 by politicians, academics and activists after the defeat of the 1979 devolution referendum. The Campaign for a Scottish Assembly was subsequently renamed the Campaign for a Scottish Parliament.
The Scottish Political Archive is housed at the University of Stirling. The archive is home to the oral interviews, personal papers and associated material from prominent Scottish politicians. In 1L's assembly, the children performed a scene based on a Polish ballet ‘Coppelia’. The performance showed the toys in Dr. Coppelia’s workshop. Year 1 have been learning about kindness, one of the Malvern College qualities. This was demonstrated through song and dance. Congratulations to 1L for an amazing, vibrant, energetic dance interpretation. It was a fantastic way to incorporate music and movement in order to develop self-confidence. Wow!
Nurses Gather from Around the World for Global Nurses Solidarity Assembly
Nurses, labor leaders, and activists from across the globe, including representatives from 24 countries and every continent, gather for the Global Nurses Solidarity Assembly, Sept. 12-15, in San Francisco, Calif. The event is organized by the California Nurses Association/National Nurses Organizing Committee (CNA/NNOC) an affiliate of National Nurses United (NNU), the largest union and professional organization of registered nurses in the United States.
“While we may be from opposite sides of the globe, we know that as nurses we share a common mission and are all bound by the same fundamental convictions: to heal the sick and injured, and fiercely advocate for the well-being of our patients, our communities, and our planet,” said Bonnie Castillo, RN, CNA/NNOC and NNU executive director.

In 1L's assembly, the children performed a scene based on a Polish ballet ‘Coppelia’. The performance showed the toys in Dr. Coppelia’s workshop. Year 1 have been learning about kindness, one of the Malvern College qualities. This was demonstrated through song and dance. Congratulations to 1L for an amazing, vibrant, energetic dance interpretation. It was a fantastic way to incorporate music and movement in order to develop self-confidence. Wow!
