Schloss Neuhaus
Auf einem Felsmassiv im Inn, war Schloss Neuhaus bis 2011 ein Institut der Englischen Fräulein. Im 14. Jahrhundert von den bayr. Herzögen zum Schutz der Innbrücke von Schärding auf einem Felsen erbaut. 1750-52 Umbau des heute ältesten Teils. Der Münchner Baumeister Johann Michael Fischer nahm die Umgestaltung im Stil des Rokoko vor.
Es fand im Laufe der Zeit ein häufiger Besitzerwechsel statt. 1859 konnte das Institut der Englischen Fräulein von Burghausen für 9000 Gulden von Fürstin Auguste v. Auersperg das Schloss erwerben und die erste Tochtergründung etablieren. Im Kloster wurde ein Institut errrichtet.
Durch die steigende Schülerinnenanzahl wurde ein Erweiterungsbau notwendig, der dem barocken Bau des Schlosses angeglichen wurde. Zwischen Alt- und Neubau wurde von 1902/1903 vom Münchner Architketen J. B. Schott unter der Leitung des Sulzbacher Baumeisters Capellaro eine kunstvoll ausgestaltete Barokkirche, die bis 1974 Pfarrkirche war, errichtet.
Heute befindet sich in den Räumen eine Realschule für Mädchen und Jungen.
Neuhaus Castle
Until 2011, Neuhaus Castle was an institute of the English Miss on a rock massif in the Inn. In the 14th century by the Bavarian Dukes built on a rock to protect the Schärding Inn Bridge. 1750-52 Remodeling of the oldest part today. The Munich master builder Johann Michael Fischer carried out the redesign in the Rococo style.
There was a frequent change of ownership over time. In 1859, the Institute of the English Miss von Burghausen for 9000 guilders from Princess Auguste v. Auersperg acquire the castle and establish the first subsidiary. An institute was built in the monastery.
Due to the increasing number of students, an extension was necessary, which was adapted to the baroque construction of the castle. Between 1902/1903 the Munich architect J. B. Schott, under the direction of the Sulzbach master builder Capellaro, built an artistically designed Baroque church, which was a parish church until 1974, between the old and the new building.
Today there is a junior high school for girls and boys in the rooms.
The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is well recognized by its pure color, as it is clad with SIVEC marble from Macedonia. Every artistic design element was carefully considered and fits into the overall vision of the Mosque.

Die Harmonie zwischen Kunst und Natur spiegelt sich ebenfalls in der Lage und Gestaltung des Schlosses Sanssouci auf der Höhe des Weinbergs wider. Der seit dem 13. Jahrhundert in der Mark Brandenburg durchaus übliche Weinanbau nahm in dieser Gegend nie eine zentrale Stellung in der künstlerischen Gestaltung der fürstlichen Lustgärten ein. Details of the "Chile House" (Chilehaus), Hamburg.
No textbook on 20th century architecture is complete without the Chilehaus, which was built between 1922 and 1924 by Fritz Höger and is regarded as an icon of architectural expressionism. Its significance as such derives from both the characteristic detailing of its brick façades and its striking shape – the way it spans Fischertwiete; its curved, S-shaped façade on the Meßberg side; and, above all, its eastern tip, which recalls the prow of a ship.
Furthermore, by exploiting the construction possibilities offered by reinforced concrete, and combining them with traditional brickwork, Höger developed in the Chilehaus a modern, ground-breaking building structure. With virtually unsurpassable virtuoso design and craftsmanship, he created a modern style of brick office-building architecture, the like of which the world had never seen.
Höger achieved this by using both the marked mirroring and reflective effect of the irregularly fired clinker bricks and the tightly packed sequence of the pillars, required by the internal floor plan, for the artistic design of the façades. Inside, the building provided flexibility with the division of floor space, vital for a modern rented office building, and could therefore be adapted to the needs of different users. In oblique view, the tightly packed sequence of pillars gives the impression of a calm, apparently windowless expanse of wall, which heightens the monumental feel of the building. The brick piers protruding from the façade at a 45°-angle follow their own internal rhythm, with the rotation of every seventh layer of bricks, so that when closely observed from an angle a diagonal pattern can be seen on the wall of pillars.

The artistic design concept reflects the historical architecture of the Coast Salish people. The Big House, where the Chief and several extended family members traditionally lived, had houseposts in front of the entrance doors. The two thunderbirds on each side mirror the twin peaks [The Lions are the 2 peaks seen on the left] of the Twin Sister mountains. The thunderbird is considered the most powerful of all the mythical creatures, one that can fly to the sun and back, bringing ancient knowledge from the Creator. The two thunderbirds represent a male and female chief; a balance of leadership. [...].

The National Museum is a museum located on Jalan Damansara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The museum is situated in close proximity to the Perdana Lake Gardens and it provides an overview of Malaysian history and culture. Its facade comprises elements of traditional Malay and modern features. It was opened on 31 August 1963, and it serves as a repository of Malaysia's rich cultural and historical heritage. The National Museum is a three-storey structure 109.7 metres long and 15.1 metres wide, which is 37.6 metres high at the central point. The museum houses four main galleries allotted to ethnology and natural history. ANUGA is an international display-only food exhibition that is held every two years at the Koelnmesse Grounds and organized by Koelnmesse GmbH, having their HQ in Cologne City - Germany. There, you will see a large number of companies exhibiting almost everything food-related in various display styles and stands; either in regular or customized setup. The regular stand is offered by the organizer according to allocated space, while the customized one is completely set up by the exhibitor through outsourcing.
This outstanding, eye-catchy, red-themed customized stand belongs to a company named Lee Kum Kee. They were displaying a wide range of authentic Asian sauces, marinades and seasoning mix to use in cooking. Apparently, its a Hong Kong based company with many overseas branches.
Anuga is a big-deal event for serious food manufacturers and traders.

The Simcoe WaveDeck opened in June 2009 in Toronto down by the waterfront. The artistic design has a dramatic 2.6 metre high curve as well as metal railings to prevent injuries. It is located just west of Simcoe Street at the water's edge and has quickly become a major attraction along the waterfront.[5] It connects the Harbourfront Centre the westernly portions of the Harbourfront. is currently the WaveDeck that is the furthest to the east.
As of 3:00 p.m. [July 22, 2021], the Burrard Chinook, TransLink’s newest additional vessel for the SeaBus fleet, began its first navigation for scheduled service.
The maiden voyage through Burrard Inlet from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale was preceded by a celebratory event, with a pair of fire boats spraying arcs of water at the ship as it arrived in downtown Vancouver.
While all SeaBus ships are almost physically identical, the Burrard Chinook is visually distinguished by its unique exterior livery, sporting First Nations artwork by local artists Kelly Cannell, Siobhan Joseph and Angela George, who represent the Musqueam. , Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh. nations, respectively.
The ship’s name and art were chosen and designed as a tribute to Chinook Salmon, one of the most iconic species in Pacific waters.

Diesen speziellen Fuchs sah ich in Motovun beim Eingang vom Atelier ‚Art in Situ‘, wo man künstlerisch gestaltete Kleidung, Taschen, Bilder und mehr kaufen konnte.
I saw this special fox in Motovun at the entrance of the studio ‚Art in Situ‘, where you could buy artistically designed clothes, bags, paintings and more.

The artistic design of the interior in the ornamental style of the rococo has a rousing effect on today's viewer. The overpowering is a planned effect: the splendor of the church should convince the believers of the greatness of God. The Spittelau waste incineration plant is one of three thermal waste treatment plants operated by Wien Energie. Its distinctive feature is its facade, artistically designed by the Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928 - 2000). With a total installed capacity of 460 MW, the plant is the second-largest district heating generator in the City of Vienna's district heating network (this small 22 percent share is shared by Wien Energie's three thermal waste treatment plants).
Happy Monday dear friends. Last night I opened the fridge door, pulled out every single sliceable thing and started slaughtering them. Well, after many, many, many different versions of “food slices” and unliked photo shoots, my stomach ended up growling to all the remaining slices I threw at it- cause I hate to waste food.
This is what I created for this week’s Macro Monday. A 3.5 cm vase made of a longitudinally cut cucumber slice, and placed on a regular slice of the cucumber. It is garnished with a basil heart and it holds freshly cut micro herbs, from my winter mini garden.
I had a great thyme creating this and had to dill with many obstacles but I couldn’t believe how cute it looked at the end.

The iconostasis is majestic, three-tiered, in the center of which, above the cornice of the second tier, there is a symbolic “all-seeing eye” in the form of a cartouche, a triangle and a crown. Праворуч і ліворуч від нього — два граціозні ангели, наче ширяють у повітрі. Ще два, подібні до них, — трохи нижче, на фронтоні першого ярусу, здається, готові миттю злетіти в небеса. Важко повірити, що фігури вирізьблені з дерева! Велика кількість дерев'яної скульптури - одна з відмінностей художнього оформлення інтер'єру Андріївської церкви.”
