To date, the Philippine population is almost 95 million. With a birth rate of 26 births per 1000 population, it is one of the highest in asia. At this rate, more members have to share the less than 2USD budget.
controlling population using artificial contraceptives is scientifically proven to be effective but expensive specially to poor. the highly contested Reproductive Health Bill makes artificial contraceptives available to public hospitals and health centers. But the influencial Catholic Church opposes the bill, saying any contraception except those that are "natural", are immoral.
With the church's meddling in politics, the RH bill continues to sit on the congress for years. At one point, a total ban of artificial contraceptive in Manila was implemented, causing families in manila to grow beyond what the parents are capable of supporting.
In the next 5 years the population is expected to rise to 115 million. Without an effective program that will control the growing population of the Philippines, which is still considered a third world country, it will seriously affect our country's food security and sustain decent living.

It snowed!
A rare thing in my town and normally only short lived. So today while driving to work I decided that I would take a picture of whatever nice scene I could find.
So I stopped the car at one of the classic sightseeing churches and did a long exposure, jumped back on the car and drove off. I did notice that there was a nice transition of the natural sky to the sky illuminated by the city, but wasn’t sure if that would translate to the image. But it worked out fine!
I made the spa bathtub jacuzzi out of styrofoam and bath tiles from home depot over two years ago and just now took it out of prop storage to use for this photo shoot. The bath towels are old washcloths cut up and sewn in place with a couple of stitches. Plants are a variety of artificial plants from Michaels'.
