Tineaux recently installed his art project, "Heart Strings" on a fence at the West Toronto Railpath, near the Tower Automotive Building, now the Museum Of Contemporary Art Toronto Canada.
The work of art is made with recently fallen Autumn leaves that are cut into heart-shaped pieces and strung together with mercerized thread. Some hearts have text on them, typed on a Brother typewriter.
Project Description:
In 2004, FAS organized and curated "Language of Networks" together with the Ars Electronica festival. This visualization depicts collaborations between international artists and scientists from 1979 to 2004. Time Analysis reveals that over the years the global Ars Electronica community has become more integrated and is interacting more intensely.

Each white node represents one of the 2575 artists collaborating on 5176 projects. Lines between nodes represents collaborations. Each festival year represents a different color line.
The Center had art created by the students on display during their Summer celebration. I think these were heads rather than masks and all were very creative in the use of various materials. Give kids a chance and you may be surprised what they come up with. Imagine, they didn’t even use Ai!

ODC-Confusing
Albuquerque Rapid Transit Project. (aka ART)
This project started back in May 2016. It went through court cases to halt it. It did finally start and is still in progress. It has caused a lot of confusion due to the size of the project. It runs for quite a distance down Central Ave or Route 66. Many expressed concern that it would cause businesses to close while the construction was going on. Some did indeed close. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albuquerque_Rapid_Transit
Today started well enough in the blood testing room at the Royal. Just after I sat down someone came in and said "if anyone is on warfarin and doesn't mind donating an extra few mls of blood for a research study we can see you now". That saved me half an hour. Result!
The park of choice today was divided, as we did two adjacent parks. The first was Allerton Towers, a small(ish) but charming 35 acre park, sporting a partly derelict orangery just for interest.
The second was the rather more well known Calderstones Park - a 94 acre park which is always very well kept as it seems to be the south Liverpool base of the Park Rangers.
One of its surprising delights was a genuinely fabulous Japanese garden which is an oasis of serenity.
More peculiar is this so called 'text garden', which is a formal topiary garden and art project. The hedges form letters which have to be read individually and then pieced together to form words.
An interesting idea, but I think on the whole it works rather better when viewed from above.
was volunteering in the art room on wednesday-- this was a project the art teacher had done with them entitled stained glass. am not sure how she did it but the results were quite wonderful. this was one 4th grader's project held up to the overhead light :)
.......wonder how this would look cropped down to square and put thru some post-processing??
