The headlight of an oncoming freight train illuminates the curve. This photo is from my garden railroad and was captured on my birthday.
I like how it nearly looks black and white despite being a color photo. That green light is from the marker lights on the front of the locomotive. All lights are LEDs.

We showed up around 3pm on the 24th and the museum was already about to close. I think everyone's eager to go home and spend Christmas Eve with their families.

A photo from a leisurely drive around Albia Reservoir Park on the 4th of July. We’ve been here a few times and there is never more than just a few people here. Nice, but it seems kind of odd for such a nicely maintained park just outside of town. The gravel road goes around most of the lake and you cross a couple of small bridges along the way.

Some colour is starting to pop up as we ease into spring; there's some green on the ground and the plants are starting to wake up.
Each day there seems to be more buds on the trees and more green poking up from gardens.
Finally! It wasn't a bad winter, but it seemed to take it's sweet time saying goodbye this year.
I'm happy to finally see the season changing.

One of the iconic locations of the Southwest that everyone should visit and photograph at least once. I captured todays image at Horseshoe Bend in Page Arizona back in 2018. It was a dark, gloomy day but just before the Sunset the Sun popped out and graced us with its warmth. Sometimes patience is all that's needed.

Hvalfjörður is een fjord in het westen van IJsland, niet ver van Akranes. Hij is ongeveer 30 kilometer lang en 5 kilometer breed. Er komen twee dalen op de fjord uit, de Botnsdalur en de Brynjudalur die door de Múlafjall van elkaar gescheiden worden, en in beide dalen komen fraaie watervallen voor.
