As I turn around this corner, I am greeted by this hydrangea again.
It is around sunset time, and no direct sunlight can hit the woods.
It is kind of dark. Even at f/1.8 I need 1/15s of exposure and ISO 560.
Taken at the Toyogakoka Kita Park, Tama, Tokyo.

Water intake area beside a former hydro power plant…
The stone work and the colourful magnolias in the distance caught my eye…
Many swallows were also darting about the area around the bridge…
An inquisitive horse came to check out was I doing in Mangaweka, so I thought he would surely like his photograph taken!

One road too many. Having made it to the Cascades Lookout in Manning Park, the road continues to many more views and surprises which we will have to save for another day. After 3 hours on the road, continuing on to dirt roads did not appeal to the travel weary couple.
An image I had forgotten about, every few weeks I move files from my computer to save on one of my hard drives, I was about to move this file then I checked to see then had that moment, so a couple of days ago I started to edit this one, it takes me a while as I save the file then come back with fresh eyes a day or so later to look again.
Alan Markham you will recognize this spot, up river from the Fly over on the River Adur where you can just see around the bend to Cuckoo corner.
In February of 1983 I took a long drive to see what the "Southern Division" of my now hometown railroad of the New York, Susquehanna & Western was like. I really didn't find much, but deep in the Cooperstown office, plans were being made to turn this tiny engine terminal known as Little Ferry into a double stack container facility in just a couple of years. This must have been a fascinating place to be judging by all the relics gathered in this quicky photo I took.
With a mountain looming in the distance, moose graze in an open fallow field under a bright, clear, blue sky in Montana.

The restored Tolman / Loveland house is one of my favorites in the agricultural ghost town of Chesterfield, Idaho. The snow drifts against the fence made a great place for a rabbit to leave tracks around the corner of the property. This was taken in 2002 and scanned from a slide.
So this would be one of the few times that I had a specific song in mind and I just wanted to find the right photo for it! So a pair of street dancers would match nicely with one of the most famous hip hop songs ever. And since we are still around Saint Patrick's celebrations, a little info (thank you Google) about the song: it was filmed during a Saint Patrick's parade in NYC but since it was Saint Patrick's there are a ton of Irish or Bostonian elements in the video clip (like Danny Boy wearing a Celtics jersey). Oh, by the way, I took this photo in Boston (which is the US city with the highest percentage of population with Irish decent)!
House of Pain - Jump around
What attracted me here was the curve of the river bank with the late afternoon sun on it and the lovely cloud reflection in the river, The river Adur at Bramber in Sussex.
The Gettysburg and Northern climbs south towards Gettysburg around the double crossing at Myerstown Rd and Old State Rd.
What goes around will come around and come back in and getcha.

Lapland is the northern-most region of Finland, within the arctic circle. It is known as Sápmi to the indigenous Sámi people, who have inhabited the region for several thousand years. It is an active outdoor destination that's known for its incredible views of the northern lights, vast arctic nature, and it is the home of reindeer and Santa Claus!
