From my shoot the other day
I had an hour to kill this morning. I did not have my real camera with me, but got in a few iPhone shots around Middletown,

Ok, silly image manipulation time..
I was trying to improve the perspective on this one and also expand the best feature of it - the cobblestones painted by a car's headlights. I couldn't get the result I wanted so decided to produce a symmetrical copy and sort of liked the result (I think).

It was great to be there some days before Christmas. I enjoyed it very much! Somehting to speed-down.
It did not take me long to come up with something for this theme.

On my way back from the mountains, I went to a winery in Monferrato to buy a selection of wines and took the opportunity to go on a nice ring tour, in which there are the vineyards of that winery.
Di ritorno dalla montagna, sono andato in una cantina del Monferrato per fare acquisti e ho colto l'occasione per fare un bel giro ad anello e vedere i vigneti di quella cantina. Sono su dolci pendii collinari su cui sorgono graziosi borghi ricchi di storia.

CN 9523 has an incredibly faded nose as it leads a short train of baretables out of the Port of Montreal.

A bit of photoshop fun for Sliders Sunday.
Don't ask about the concept here because I'm not sure there is one LOL.
The base image was taken with an ND filter to get a long exposure which removed all of the traffic. The A380 is one of my stock one which I've used before. I tried to work with the proportions here where the wingspan is 80 meters.. Alas, the width of the M6 here is more like 45 metres (verge to verge) making the shadow's wing span approx 60 metres.. So, still a little short...
Anyway, thought it was (just about) worth sharing.. HSS.
