The Smith's Arms is a derelict pub on Sherratt Steert in the Ancoats district of Manchester. These stairs are on the side of the building.

The Millers Arms, corner of St. Radigunds Street and Mill Lane.

It feels like this peach orchard's branches are open arms, welcoming one to walk upon its untouched fall foliage.

"I don't believe in an interventionist God

But I know, darling, that you do

But if I did I would kneel down and ask Him

Not to intervene when it came to you

Not to touch a hair on your head

To leave you as you are

And if He felt He had to direct you

Then direct you into my arms

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms, O Lord

Into my arms"

Journey - Open Arms

Lying beside you.

Here in the dark

Feeling your heart beat

With mine

Softly you whisper

You're so sincere

How could our love

Be so blind

We sailed on together

We drifted apart

And here you are by my side

So now I come to you

With open arms

Nothing to hide

Believe what I say

So here I am

With open arms

Hoping you'll see

What your love means to me

Open arms

Living without you

Living alone

This empty house seems so cold

Wanting to hold you

Wanting you near

How much I wanted you home

But now that you've come back

Turned night into day

I need you to stay

So now I come to you

With open arms

Nothing to hide

Believe what I say

So here I am

With open arms

Hoping you'll see

What your love means to me

Open arms

Embrace your inner fashionista with this stunning [Ahlure] Corinne Shirt & Pants Set. If you value having versatile, one-of-a-kind, and high-quality pieces in your SL closet, this outfit will certainly become one of your go-to favorites!

This set comes with Shirt, Pants, and Heels (not shown). I absolutely love the Color/Texture HUD which allows you to make color and texture changes to the shirt's arms, collar, back, front, and edge (piping) details. There is also a separate HUD for the pants which lets you make color and texture changes to the upper and lower portions of the pants, belt, garter, bow, and metals.

This Western Lowland Silverback male Gorilla (named Jasiri) displays his long strong Popeye-like arms. Quite impressive muscles on this male - he must be “strong to the finich ‘cause he eats his spinach”. Admired at the Calgary Zoo (2024).

There's so many different worlds

So many different suns

And we have just one world

But we live in different ones

On our brothers in arms....

Brothers in arms are men who serve together in a conflict, especially war. By extension, brothers in arms are also men who share a very close, strong relationship.

I hope that you see right through my walls

I hope that you catch me, 'cause I'm already falling

I'll never let a love get so close

You put your arms around me and I'm home

DRS 37409 arrives at Norwich on the short set from Great Yamouth via Berney Arms, on what I imagine will be a short sojourn before returing up North.

It has hurt so much. If I can give you an advice: don't ever try to do that!

Another build that I was gonna upload before Droneuary ended, but entering the Brickarm's contest pushed it back. Hope you guys like it, inspired by Bezor as always. Expect some new builds soon.

Four weeks from Thursday we will be on our way to the UK for a 6 week holiday. This is our 11th trip to the UK - I love the history, countryside, historical buildings. We have been to many places, but still so much more to see.

The gloss of our excitement has been taken away by Singapore Airlines. In April we booked two Premium Economy tickets with Singapore Airlines, which cost $9,400 AUD. Around 3 or 4 weeks ago we received an email from Singapore Airlines saying that due to unforeseen circumstances, we had been downgraded to economy from Singapore to Sydney for our return journey. Peter was so angry but worse was to come. We have now been downgraded to economy from Heathrow to Sydney. The price of tickets has gone through the roof for economy tickets which now cost over $9,000 AUD return for 2 people. We think they are just trying to make more money and there is nothing we can do about it as they have already sold our seats probably for a huge amount. No refund as airfares are now over $9,000 AUD just for economy seats. So unfair Singapore Airlines!!!!! On top of that the price of car hire has also doubled. We have paid for our accommodation and would lose too much if we cancelled the trip so we just have wear the extra expense. We are still determined to have a good time.

Berney Arms situated on the bank of the river Yare, near Great Yarmouth (Norfolk).

The windmill was built in 1865 for Reedham Cement company by Millwrights Stolworthy. It was initially used to grind cement clinker using chalk/clay from local area's brought to the mill by Wherry. The material was fired in nearby kilns and the product clinker ground in the mill.

Cement production ceased in 1880 and in 1883 the mill was converted with a drainage scoop to drain the surrounding marshland.

The mill closed in 1948 when replaced by motor pumps.

Berney Arms is a Scheduled Ancient Monument under the care of English Heritage, and has undergone lengthy restoration.

Don't laugh, we all love our phones...

Loving these Brickarms Overmoulded FOE-11.

Stykkishólmur Church, Snaefellsness Peninsula, Iceland.

Stykkishólmur Church is a white concrete structure consecrated in 1980. It stands on a promontory overlooking the town of Stykkishólmur in western Iceland, on the northern edge of Snæfellsnes peninsula. The entrance lies between two sweeping arms leading up to the bell tower. The style is modernistic, in common with many Icelandic churches, its appearance incongruous against the surrounding landscape.

We finally got to visit the windmill which is one of the biggest in Norfolk. It is quite difficult to get to as there is no road and unless you have a boat which we don't it is a six mile round trip walk although there is a tiny railway request stop fairly nearby. I was really impressed by the size of the mill so it was well worth the walk.
