These mist covered mountains
Are a home now for me
But my home is the lowlands
And always will be
Someday you'll return to
Your valleys and your farms
And you'll no longer burn to be
Brothers in arms
Through these fields of destruction
Baptisms of fire
I've witnessed your suffering
As the battle raged high
And though they did hurt me so bad
In the fear and alarm
You did not desert me
My brothers in arms

The best place in the world is in the arms of someone who will not only hold you at your best, but will pick you up and hug you tight at your weakest moment. Unknown
♫ "IN YOUR ARMS" by Ashley Serena & Ryan Louder • Emotional Vocal Orchestral ♫
In Your Arms
"Wind howls in my hair
The world stops when you come this near
Starlight on your skin
The sky sways as you pull me in
And I... I wanna swim in your ocean
I... wanna know how to love again
Take me into your arms
Sirens call
How fast I fall
Beneath your waves
No storm can take
My eyes from you
Crash down to my knees
Their fears and hopes flood over me
Your hand finds my own
And shows me that I'm not alone
Now I... I'm diving deep in your ocean
I... see the way to redemption
Take me into your arms
Sirens call
How fast I fall
Beneath your waves
No storm can take
My eyes from you"
There were always signs of you
Hidden in clear view
Saw pieces of you scattered cross the landscape of my life
Your yes belong to fragments of nostalgia
Your hands and your smile too
Though every part of you is new
There was only ever you
In your arms, in your arms
I will wait oh I will wait
In your arms, in your arms
I will stay oh I will stay
Did you look away
Or did you try to hide your face
In broken photographs or passing glances
Out of time
Wish I had never known a life without you
Let's rewrite this book anew
And every page that I read through
Is a new memory of you
In your arms, in your arms
I will wait oh I will wait
In your arms, in your arms
I will stay oh I will stay
In your arms, in your arms
I will wait oh I will wait
In your arms, in your arms
I will stay oh I will stay
Will stay...
(Lyrics from Ronan Keating - In Your Arms)

It's been a bad few days, but there's always a new day after last nights sunset. This is a big thank you to Beverley for her kind thoughts and support, and is by Nick Cave , so is perfect. Into my arms is a great song and has lots of meanings , the beach always welcomes me with open arms.
If I die in your arms
It's right where I'm supposed to be
You know I'm not afraid
As long as you're next to me (so tell me)
So tell me, will you hold me
When the curtains close
If I died in your arms
It's right where I'm supposed to be (If I died)
Got an easy place to be.
In my arms, in my arms....
Teddy Thompson - In My Arms Lyrics

Taken near Coulee City, Washington State, USA.
As I said in a previous post, I visited my buddy down in Washington State last August for four days.
This thrasher was hard by the road within arms reach of my driver's side window for this shot.

Royal Arms and town mayoral advertisements. The Guildhall of King's Lynn once England's second port. The lower much eroded arms are those of Elizabeth I originally in a town church. Above are those Charles II. More - - www.flickr.com/photos/lesc/51724930532/in/photostream/
"Well I just heard the news today
It seems my life is going to change
I close my eyes, begin to pray
Then tears of joy stream down my face
With arms wide open
Under the sunlight
Welcome to this place
I'll show you everything
With arms wide open
With arms wide open
Well I don't know if I'm ready
To be the man I have to be
I'll take a breath, I'll take her by my side
We stand in awe, we've created life"

Vineyards above lake Geneva/Leman/Genfersee east of Lausanne, Switzerland. Does anyone know the name of this tree? It's everywhere in urban France, and to a much lesser extent Spain, the branches are cut down every winter, they grow tall thin branches with fat leaves in summer.
I love Bristol. Its only a few minutes away form whee I live but the mentality of the city is was different - more alive and vibrant.

In his arms.
Everything feels like a dream,
that i'll hopefully never wake from.
in his arms.
i know he cares,
loves me,and
that he never wants to let go.
in his arms.
i know that as long as i stay with him,
no one can bring me any harm.
in his arms.
i can feel his loving heart pounding in his chest,
to tell me how he really feels.
in his arms.
i can feel the sensitivity he hides,
behind his masculine outer shell.
in his arms.
i know that even if everyone else hates me
i'll still be loved by him.
in his arms.
i want time to drift by slowly
so that i'll hopefully never have to leave him.
we won't live forever so i want to spend my life in his arms.
Love you forever and Always my Yogibear ❤
The Willoughby Arms at Little Bytham. Looks like the pub was at least partially open (maybe fully open) at this time. The old train station is behind my back in this photo.

- one of my favourite plants in the garden to take photos of, because they show all different stages of growth at a time. I spent more than an hour at this bush to find all kinds of different light situations, focus points, and in the end some washed away painterly colours and even abstract images - lots of fun with my vintage lens (Helios 44, 58mm), my favourite lens for this kind of photos.
