Another shot across Lost Dutchman State Park as the fog rolled in down from Four Peaks through Apache Trail. An amazing seen and very dynamic as sun began to rise. All a result of the previous nights massive Arizona storm that brought snow down to the lower desert.

A storm sneaks up from the south and illuminates the radio towers on top of South Mountain. This is a 20 second long exposure capturing the sotrm in the background and the busy roadway in the foreground.

We have lots of Quail moving around our neighborhood. A very pretty bird.

Sabino Creek in Sabino Canyon. An incredibly beautiful place - the quintessential idea of the desert southwest.

The Schnebly Hill Formation is a thick layer of red and orange sandstone unique to the Sedona Arizona area. Sedona's red rocks are world famous and comprise the landscape in an around the town. I took this photo offroading. There are many beautiful trails up in that area.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve Gateway Trail at Sunset.

The National Trail runs 14.5 miles along the spine of South Mountain. I've hiked different sections of this trail numerous times but never the whole thng and never this section which closely follows the road as it winds it's way toward Dobbins Lookout.
