The interiors of the Eldridge Street synagogue, 1887, Lower East Side, Manhattan, New York. It was designed in Moorish revival style, Gothic revival, and Romanesque revival by the Herter brothers, Roman Catholic architects who immigrated from Germany and specialized in the design of apartment buildings. The Eldridge Street Synagogue was their first house of worship. The building undertook restoration in 2007. A stunning stained glass window designed by artist Kiki Smith and architect Deborah Gans was added in 2010. This sample demonstrates the use of a new silicone technology that holds the glass together into lustrous, seamless panels.

A scene from outside of The Met (Metropolitan Museum of Art), New York City. The weather although bitterly cold during my week in the city was incredible, completely unbroken sun for the duration with only a snow storm passing later. The Met itself was a grand sight and a privalidge to visit.
I photographed this Oscar Niemeyer cultural center, digitally manipulating the background to create a dreamlike atmosphere. The spiral staircase and cylindrical structure embody the architect's signature style, while the altered background transforms the reality into something more surreal.

I ran into this beautiful seventies development unplanned. It's a large-scale (1900 apartments) housing complex with typical seventies elements: terraces, galeries, courtyards, passages. Fun fact: Forum has been built on the grounds of the former Renault factories.
San Miguel Mission also known as San Miguel Chapel is a Spanish mission chapel that was built around the 1600s. San Miguel Chapel is considered the oldest church in the United States.
A housing project of 18 cylindrical towers in Puteaux, built in the late 70s.
This is just one of them, the ensemble consists of 18 towers and are also called cloud towers because of their cladding. The buildings were designed by Emile Aillaud and appear to be ready for a thorough renovation today
