Balboa Park, San Diego, California, USA.

This first-of-its-kind organ designed to play for an outdoor audience has been amazing music-lovers since December 31, 1914, when from his presidential desk Woodrow Wilson touched the telegraph key that set off fireworks and lit the Pavilion’s 1,644 incandescent bulbs to launch the Panama-California International Exposition.

Inside the Cathedral Basilica Of Saint Francis has three seats on of which sits the priest. Though the cathedral is open for tours, this cathedral still has weddings, private prayers, lighting of candles as well as other religious events.

Hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend =)

For the nice weather in Santa Fe is an outside bar and grill in which people from all over enjoy a few drinks and a great meal.

The Cagsawa Ruins (also spelled as Kagsawa or Cagsaua) are the remnants of an 16th-century Franciscan church, the Cagsawa church. It was built in 1587 but was burned down by the marauding Dutch in 1636. However, it was reconstructed again in 1724 by Fr. Francisco Blanco. In February 1, 1814, Mayon Volcano caused its most violent and deadly eruption that engulfed the surrounding houses and killed nearly 2,000 people who took refuge inside the church. Only the belfry of the Cagsawa church remains as a grim and silent testimony of that fateful day. For almost two hundred years, it has withstood the test of time and the elements to become one of the most recognizable landmarks of Albay Province. The ruins are located in Barangay Busay, Cagsawa, in the municipality of Daraga, Albay, Philippines.

Embarcadero Center in San Francisco is an iconic example of modernist architecture, embodying the city’s mid-20th-century urban redevelopment vision. Comprising five office towers, the center stretches along the Embarcadero waterfront, offering a blend of commercial, retail, and public spaces. This photo highlights the striking linear symmetry of the building’s balconies, each one precisely aligned in a grid-like pattern that emphasizes repetition and rhythm. The design, characterized by minimalist aesthetics, exudes a sense of order and efficiency, reflecting the architectural trends of the 1960s and 1970s. The repetitive vertical lines of the balconies draw the eye upward, while the muted color palette enhances the structure's bold, geometric forms. Designed by architect John C. Portman Jr., Embarcadero Center is a testament to the urban planning and architectural ingenuity of its era. Its clean lines and functional design have made it a landmark in San Francisco's Financial District, symbolizing both the city’s economic prowess and its embrace of modernity. Whether viewed up close or from a distance, the Embarcadero Center’s architectural significance and its place in the fabric of San Francisco are undeniable, making it a must-see for architecture enthusiasts and visitors alike.

Passing by Champ de Mars, on a sunny morning. Champ de Mars is a lawn/garden with a good view of the Eiffel Tower on mornings like this. The area you can see right on the opposite end is the Trocadero.

This store also up until recently housed BEST Thrift. I'm not entirely sure why they closed, but now the store is vacant. if you look really close, you can make out the labelscar of the BEST logo.

The see-through church, officially "Reading Between the Lines," is a unique artwork in Borgloon, Belgium. Designed by the architectural duo Gijs Van Vaerenbergh in 2011, the church consists of 100 stacked steel plates. Due to its open structure, the building appears solid from some angles and almost transparent from others. This symbolizes the interplay between landscape, architecture, and spirituality. The see-through church is a popular tourist attraction and offers an impressive view of the surrounding Haspengouw region.

A stunning view of a full orange moon above brightly lit Chengdu city skyline, featuring prominent skyscrapers and a tranquil night ambiance, evoking a sense of awe and wonder.
