Sa technique de pêche est des plus efficaces, grâce à son allure aérodynamique: cela lui permet de pêcher entre 70 et 80 poissons par jour pour un adulte. L'oiseau, très vif, parcourt plusieurs fois son territoire en se posant sur des lieux en hauteur qu'il connaît, bien disposé pour appercevoir ses proies. Si sa position est assez haute, il plonge en flèche directement, et ressort aussitôt de l'eau, grâce à la poussée d'Archimède due à l'air emprisonné sous son plumage.
Its fishing technique is very efficient, thanks to its aerodynamic look: this allows it to catch between 70 and 80 fish per day for an adult. The bird, very lively, roams its territory several times, landing on high places that it knows, well disposed to perceive its prey. If its position is high enough, it dives directly, and immediately emerges from the water.

All'inizio del video riprendo la fiamma viva che porta aria calda dentro al pallone rendendolo più leggero dell'aria più fredda circostante e facendolo così innalzarsi (Principio di Archimede)
E' interessante sentire il forte rumore del fuoco che entra nel pallone e che, forse, rende comprensibile capire come, due mesi dopo, l'addetto avesse potuto dirigere male la fiamma bruciando la Mongolfiera e facendola rovinosamente cadere e portando alla morte le persone che vi stavano dentro

At the beginning of the video I film the live flame that brings hot air into the balloon making it lighter than the colder air around it and thus making it rise (Archimedes' Principle)
It is interesting to hear the loud noise of the fire entering the balloon and that, perhaps, makes it understandable how, two months later, the operator could have misdirected the flame burning the Hot Air Balloon and making it fall disastrously and leading to the death of the people inside it

Composizione alquanto minuta per il treno diagnostico Archimede , qui in transito a Lungavilla (PV) con un NCL da Domodossola a Genova Brignole. In testa la E402.142 di RFI e la E656.565.

Il treno diagnositco Archimede di Rete Ferroviaria Italiana transita velocemente presso Busto Arsizio mentre esegue un NCL da Milano Centrale a Domodossola per la verifica dell'infrastruttura, trainato dalla E402.141 di RFI in testa al treno.
La semipilota è stata oggetto di ingente rimozione graffiti e perciò la scritta sul lato è incompleta.

IT - ecco qui un conosciuto treno diagnostico in italia : Archimede , qui immortalato con la E652-160 in testa e la E402-101 in coda a causa di un guasto alla carrozza pilota
