Miyamoto's game, developed with Nintendo's chief engineer, Gunpei Yokoi, is considered to be the earliest video game with a storyline that visually unfolded on screen. An early example of the platform game genre, its protagonist Jumpman (later renamed Mario) must rescue a damsel in distress, Lady, from his mistreated pet, a giant ape named Donkey Kong. An success in both North America and Japan, Nintendo licensed the game to Coleco, who developed home console versions for numerous platforms.

Following a $67 million expansion by architect Thomas Lesser, starting in March 2008, the museum doubled its size and reopened in January 2011.
Space Invaders is an arcade game designed by Tomohiro Nishikado, and released in 1978. It was originally manufactured and sold by Taito in Japan, and was later licensed for production in the United States by the Midway division of Bally. Space Invaders is one of the earliest shooting games and the aim is to defeat waves of aliens with a laser cannon to earn as many points as possible. It was one of the forerunners of modern video gaming and helped expand the video game industry from a novelty to a global industry. Following its release, the game caused a temporary shortage of 100-yen coins in Japan, grossed US$2 billion in quarters by 1982, and by 2007 had earned Taito over $500 million in profits. Guinness World Records ranks it the top arcade game.

One of my friend Bob's sit in video games seen on May 26,1984 in his parents basement it's one of many he collected over the years including pinball machines and jukeboxes too.
ah a classic game for any simpson fan (and just a few yards away from the big simpson's movie promo display).
also a bit of a confusing (or dated) game since springfiled turns into a battle ground againstinfamous men in the purple suits, and Bongo-like rabbits.
you also gotta beat up a bunch of fat olld men. miniboss-like firemen and even giant donuts!
many "boss monster" type enemies will appear at the end of each level. These bosses include, but are not restricted to: Giant Bowling Balls, A Professional Wrestler, A Drunken Teenager, A Pair of Bouncers...
all leading to the biggest meanie of the day...Smithers?
yeah, i dunno what konami was thinking...smithers is good peeps.
the best part of the game?
(yes it has lots of great things, but this one is a doozie)
This is a video clip. You can watch it on Vimeo:

These boxes store our collection. They are lignin-free, acid-free, and buffered with 3% calcium carbonate. Every shelf is numbered, as are the boxes, so by checking our collections data base, we know exactly where everything is. This is what's in the "Repository" field that you can see when you search the collection. Now that we've moved things, every item in the boxes will need to be updated.

In China, machines have been known to stock domestic and foreign cigarettes.
In East Asia, live animals are occasionally the prize in the claw game. In Chinese supermarkets, a live crab or lobster can be won, presumably to be eaten by the winner. In Japan, pet turtles can be won.

Ms. Pac-Man was produced by Midway as an unauthorized sequel to Pac-Man. It was released in North America in 1981 and became one of the most popular video games of all time, leading to its adoption by Pac-Man licensor Namco as an official title. This game introduces a female protagonist, new maze designs and several minor gameplay changes over the original game.
