April 24 - April photo a day challenge - Something I am grateful for. I live in Baltimore City now. But as a child I was raised in a small town. I love city life now. But I am greatful that I was raised in a small town, on the river, with a gazebo in the park. There is something special about small town life.

I love me some mail. I should have staged a pic yesterday as a really gorgeous handwritten label was in my box yesterday. I'm pretty spoiled in apartment complex living, this is very close to the pool OR a fountain and pond filled with new spring tadpoles and turtles! My husband gets so excited when This Old House arrives in the mail. We're far from buying a house but one day I imagine us rushing home from work to resurface floors or the day I win the lottery so he can have the wood shop he's always dreamed of....meanwhile we can dream :)
