Its that mid winter kick back time. A good book, some tea biscuits, and the ever faithful Delilah the Wonder Lab at my side.
Photo challenge for April 7 was the word "shadow". I thought of trying to find a unique shadow outside someplace, but then thought about my dog Delilah. She truly is my shadow. She is at my side 24/7. Where I go she is at my side. What better shadow could I ask for.

Have I mentioned I dislike eating in Styrofoam and plastic-ware? This was all I could muster - Friday I was super late to work, could it be because the night before someone stayed up super late watching Across the Universe? (the singing was excellent!)
I took these pictures of Flora for the #aprilphotoaday challenge taking place on Instagram. The theme was "someone who makes you happy". When I told Flora that I needed her help and explained the photo challenge, she shouted "Me! I make you happy!"
And she does.
For the pictures she decided she wanted to twirl like a ballerina. The actual twirling pics are a bit blurry so I'm glad I caught her up close. :)
A night to remember. Mom's 50th birthday. And we all acted like crazy folks.
I just added this photo to my April photo a day. For April 9 the theme was "younger you". This is a younger me. It was taken in 1977 on April 3. It was my Mom's 50th birthday. I was 25. I am almost 60 now, older than Mom in the photo.

AprilPhotoADay ... I have a dislike/fear of clowns, spiders and heights - have used this old pic of a spider for todays challenge.
A garden spider I think - I am no good with them I screech like a girl and run generally!
