This was another idea I had for April Fool's Day today. But the other idea won. I figured I'd still shoot this because, man, I love April Fool's Day. Totally. Sure, nobody likes to be fooled with. I certainly don't (oh but back in high school there were always jokes played around! Like when someone unscrewed the salt-shaker at the cafeteria, and I just so happened to be the unlucky victim and I pour the whole salt-shaker contents onto my meal... nasty stuff! Or when the guys put vaseline on the 6th form door handles. Yucks. or or or .. etc.)
Jokes are fun though. You gotta admit to it. As long as nobody gets hurt. Jokes are fun. And I love playing tricks. Just part of my nature. A humour nature at that :)
This is exactly why the kids love me. (Or so I think).
For April Fool's Day, some pranksters turned the University of Michigan's famous Cube into another famous cube.

I was so tickled to see Hulu.com's April Fools' joke today. I'm going to have to watch some season 1 or 2 X-Files to celebrate.
And in case you were wondering, this episode is called Hell Money and is the 19th episode in season 3. It first aired March 29, 1996.
The gang got together for our 1st annual April Fools Somethingoranother. The theme for the night: 'Stache Bash. A few of us grew out our beards for about two months (Casey grew his out for three years), and then we shaved down to the 'stache and had a night on the town--the ATL was none the wiser!
The 'staches are gone by now--and we've paid our respects--but the night will live in McGee infamy.

We finished the installation just as it was getting dark. We pointed our outdoor lights on the plane and people immediately started stopping out front. We could hear one guy laughing. We are 200 feet from the road so he must have been laughing pretty hard.
When I saw that brown bird in the foreground during a visit to the Detroit Zoo, I thought maybe it was a flamingo chick. But after learning from ornithologist Laura Erickson that dodos have been sighted in Duluth, now I'm wondering whether they may have migrated to other Great Lakes cities, too.
....is my idea of something really disgusting!!!

The other day I found an enormous bug in my house. I had no idea what it was when I saw it, so I grabbed my camera and put on the 65mm macro lens to make sure I got some detailed shots of what I figured might be the important characters. Details at Enormous Unknown Bug!
