Can be a little unsettling when you suddenly hear a whoosh behind you, helps with the camera movement though!

iPhone camera and slow shutter app
This image began life on a Canon S110, I transferred it to the iPhone, and processed in #DeepArt app. The original was a totally blown out "throw away" - amazing what this app could do with it. Hope you'll give it a try!

Yet another piece on contemplation on the "Eve" project I am beginning. I love the emotionless face in this piece, it's a playful composition on a rather serious topic.
Can't believe we moved here 3 years ago & this was our first visit to the nearby town of Dunmore East. It certainly won't be our last. Plenty of photo opportunities. It was a glorious day but bitterly cold. Best viewed Large to see more detail HWW & HFF!
"In 1814 when Dunmore was a very small fishing village nestling in a sheltered cove it was chosen by the Post Office to be the Irish terminal of a new Mail Packet route from Milford Haven. The Post Office engaged a Scottish Engineer, Alexander Nimmo, to design and build the new harbour for which he used the local old red sandstone conglomerate. His design included a magnificent lighthouse which took the form of a fluted Doric column with the lantern on top of the capital. Nimmo must have gone to the same foundry for the cast iron lattice balcony as his Scottish lighthouse contemporaries Thomas Smith and Robert Stevenson and only one Irish lighthouse has this type of railing, that is Haulbowline at the entrance to Carlingford Lough, established 1824"
More information on this lighthouse can be found here www.irishlights.ie/tourism/our-lighthouses/dunmore-east.aspx
100/100x my 100 photos have all been taken using the Hipstamatic App. I have really enjoyed using the App & have taken lots more photos that didn't quite make the 100 which I will upload over the coming weeks.

Also, I discovered this great app. called 'imageblender' for those of you interested in layering your mobile photos.
While on the Yankee Freedom Ferry Ride and docking at Fort Jefferson in Dry Tortugas National Park. The view is looking to the south as the bird was perched on some nearby railing.
I used the Merlin app on my iPhone to identify the bird.

A shoot of Asuka early in the morning at the Amagasaki Teramachi area (尼崎、寺町) it's early in the morning before people go to the temple, around 6am. I'm using the 85/1.8 for the outsude shots, and a wide angle Sigma lens for the unside ones. I was pretty sure the monk who was there would ask us not to take photos inside, but when he came, he just asked her to take off her high heels ;)
